Sandro Tonali says the game against Verona was one of the best nights of his life, as Milan are closer to the title.
After beating Lazio and Fiorentina with late goals, Milan were no short of drama last night either against Hellas Verona.
Davide Faraoni (38′) scored first but two Sandro Tonali (45+3′, 50′) goals and one from Alessandro Florenzi (87′) gave the Rossoneri 3 huge points, and Milan are now with a two-point lead over Inter in the Scudetto race, with 2 games to go.
“Let’s say it was a wonderful night, for us and our fans, and for all Milanisti,” Sandro told MilanTV. “We came here for this and we achieved our goal even though we went one goal down. We didn’t get discouraged because we’re a great team that managed to overcome the setback and turn it around.”
“When I scored my second goal I felt what being Milanista means. I gave a gift tonight but Milan gave me one, too, because this is a night we must remember but we also have to put a line under it, and start from scratch for Atalanta.”

Speaking to Sky Italia, the midfielder, who celebrated his 22nd birthday yesterday(!) said: “There are 4 points to achieve what 3 years ago was a dream but now is an objective but we need high concentration.
“Is it one of the best days of my life? For now I can say ‘yes’. Up to now there was the match against Lazio, which now goes into second place to make room for the first place for this one against Verona. I will carry it inside me for a while, hoping to experience other even stronger emotions.

“Pioli compared me to De Rossi? I don’t know, I’ve also heard other comparisons. I often speak to Pioli, especially now that he has me play further ahead like against Lazio. I play in all midfield roles, I have no problems.
“The words of Ibra in the dressing room? He gave us the base, the one we needed to bring home the three points, which were the most important thing. Now it’s no longer important to play a top game, but to win. Both things happened in Verona. I’m sure Ibra is happy for us, but also for himself.”
nope, de rossi was a bit too static and less technical than you. ur modric 2.0 and, like him, you will have stellar career tonali. bravissimo
In terms of playmaking, Bennacer is better than Tonali. But in terms of strength, defensive awareness, finishing, goal instinct, and set pieces, Tonali is better. This makes Tonali more complete midfielder than Bennacer
I think he would be ideal in a 433 so he could get forward more. And the fact we haven’t got a world class 10 gets rid of that problem altogether, and it will also give us more control in midfield.
Tonali can become a box to box midfielder. He is like Nico Barella
The stronger version, and similar to Veratti, both are smaller. Tonali can bullie others wherever he goes.
Tonali is tonali not like anybody, just like himself Forza Tonali
