Milan bought one 18-year-old and said goodbye to three players.
The Rossoneri are currently in third place in Serie A, and despite the (failed) attempts of the management to get players like Lille’s Sven Botman and Renato Sanches, the squad of Stefano Pioli has stayed pretty much the same, with the exception of four transfers that were completed.
18-year-old Marko Lazetić joined from Crvena zvezda to act as the third-choice striker behind Zlatan Ibrahimović and Olivier Giroud. Other than the Serbian, no one arrived.

Cutrone was the future. We need to live in the present. It’s fine to have youth project, but Milan is not a place for players to become professional . We need men! Tonalli Donnarumma Leao are on a different league, those are the youngsters we need.

Andre Silva was a ticking bomb, he wasn’t scoring, we got Ante Rebic who fixed our LW and is probably our main ST for the next season. I judge players base on what they did in Milan Jersey not after or before that. Cutrone has the highest minutes/goal ratio in recent years. Even better than Ibra. He isn’t an amazing player but in Milan Jersey he gave his heart and that’s what makes him a good example of players you should never sell (Ambrosini, Abbiati, Kaladze are examples if players that only were and are great when they played for Milan.) Look at the stats, don’t be romantic about the idea of youngsters. If they don’t have what it takes they need to be sold. Only Silva and Paqueta deserved to stay. So facts aren’t facts if you don’t like them? Daniel maldini scored one goal in 80 minutes this season. So he is the best player in world? Ibra is finished because he can’t stay fit. Are you really trying to compare Ibra with Haland mate? Haland has 23goals in 20 games. Thats almost 2 times more than Ibras 8goals in 19games. Haland has more assists as well, also stats dont show you the work rate that players put on the field. Haland runs like e horse, while Ibra needs other players in the team to run for him. I know some people here idolize Ibra, but for real there is no comparison between him and Halland. Haland is on another level or two.

Ibra is amazing if he stays healthy and we both know it’s not gonna happen. Who can say anything bad about Ibra abilities. But he is 40 years old. He is slow. He kills opportunities. Maignan came by15 million transfer and about 3 million of wage for 4 years. ounting the 50 percent of tax relaxation for players from foreign club, the total amount would be 15 plus 1.5x(4×3), which equal to 36 millions.
