CT scan rules out injuries for Kessié and he could return vs Inter, Ballo-Touré out with an adductor injury

Franck Kessié is already feeling better after getting injured at AFCON, but the same cannot be said for Ballo-Touré.

Kessié will soon be in Milano after his Ivory Coast got knocked out of the Africa Cup of Nations, losing to Egypt in penalties in the Round of 16 of the competition.

The midfielder, who is set to leave the club as a free agent in the summer, however, did not take a penalty as he left the pitch on Wednesday after less than 30 minutes due to an injury.

According to Milannews.it, yesterday Franck underwent a CT scan and it showed no injuries of any kind. The player is already doing better and will be back at Milanello on Monday to train.

The desire is to have the player fully fit and available for the Derby della Madonnina next Saturday against Inter. This is important news for Milan, who already got Ismaël Bennacer back early following Algeria’s early exit from AFCON.

One player who will not be at the Derby is Fodé Ballo-Touré. His Senegal are still competing at AFCON but the left-back got injured in the Round of 16. As reported by Milannews.it, it’s believed that Ballo-Touré is suffering from an adductor injury and should be out for at least three weeks.

It’d also be difficult to see Fikayo Tomori return in time for the Derby as he’s still recovering from his knee surgery.

Sit him on the bench. Rest of the season. Or he agrees to be sold NOW. Thats it. Enough letting the players dictate.

SOHEIL

We probably make him captain to prove to him how important he is to us. So he can f*** us in the A*** like Donna did!

Milanellofm

The worst is that he’s looking to run out his contract and join either inter or juve. At that point is it not easier to give him his 8m in wages and immediately sell him to someone to make some kind of money instead of letting him walk and go to rivals. Maldini seriously needs to get this in order because that’s the new trend in milan. By no means has he been good this year, shadow of the player of last year, but either sell him or give him what he wants

Raven

Trust me, he won’t sign, he will wait for PSG, Madrid or Barcelona, if not, he will go to inter with his boyfriend

Sebs

Unfortunately CT scan can‘t hold him for leaving milan for free. I don‘t know where he will play next season, but going to our rival like Hakan did, couldn‘t really be ruled out. It‘s really annoying and it even doesn’t bother the management. They prefer to have less heavy wage player rather losing a key player to rival.

i hope he get bad injured… this management so stupid, so our players never respect to our club…

Sebs

It is milan to blame. There is no fairness for player. Management is willing to pay Ibrajury prone 7m per year and even offered Donna 8m but for other players Milan is not willing to pay more than 5m due to salary cap, even for main pillars of the team. Salary cap is just ridiculous. We can‘t solely blame on players

dapito

i already told them put it in reserve and don’t give it time to play… Many players are rude to AC Milan so they can do whatever they want…

We sold Kerkez too. A player tipped to be long term Theo replacement. The reason is Capital gain. We can change or name to FC capital gain or something because that’s the only important thing to our owners. Pathetic.

Timo

milan even have difficulties to offload Samu due to his undeserved salary and thanks to pioli who gave him a lot of playing time last season. Milan rejected to meet kessies demand, yet gave unknown player like samu high salary.
daniel should have gone on loan before season begun just like colombo.
milan will loss another key players for free.
kerkez left and Ballo „who is he“ is in the team.
milan is completely mess.No clear strategy
really hope milan have a new owner pretty soon.

Nesta1

Anyone rate noa lang we getting linked with?

Ranajaya

He’s been sold because he wanted immediate appearrance in the first team. The boy is nowhere near that level yet, but having him trained with the first team and give him 5 or so minutes at the end of some matches wouldn’t hurt either.
The funny thing is they sold him 2 million to Alkmaar, which is the exact money they paid for Lazetic for the first installment
This management is frustrating,

There is a long term plan, build a new stadium with Inter. We can’t afford spending on stars Milan will build their owns. Now, allowing our backbone to leave for free is too much. Milan deserve respect, but we should be able to keep our stars. Donna Hakan now Kessie is way too much. Ibra retires, and we are one sale ( Theo) from having the same scenario of the early 10s. Milan can’t sell our starters without securing an adequate replacement first. (Suso-El Sharaawy are great examples) Serie A is “at risk of insolvency” as affirmed by Marotta, certainly… Read more »

Did anyone notice Kessie has lowered his hairs…I guess he wants to prove something. Maybe to look younger and play better in d eyes of suitors. It reminds me of d time Pirlo went to Juve and started keeping beards..

Ted

Now he makes me question his birth certificate.

Romain Faivre has signed with Lyon! Lol… This Milan won’t win anything with this uptight attitude of spending
