Theo Hernández scored a brace and wore the Captain’s armband as Milan beat Venezia 3-0 at Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo.
After defeating Roma 3-1 at Stadio San Siro on Thursday evening, today at lunch time Milan took on Venezia away.
The Rossoneri were in control from the first whistle and ended up winning the game 3-0 with goals from Zlatan Ibrahimović (2′) and Theo Hernández (48′, 59′ pk). It was a day to remember for the Frenchman, who also wore the Captain’s armband for the entirety of the match.
“From where does this Milan find all these energies? It’s thanks to the coach,” Theo told DAZN after the game. “We work every day to recover and move forward, thanks to that we are this Milan.”
On the Scudetto: “We work every day, we play game by game and then we’ll see. The league is not easy, we work hard every day.”

On if Theo-Leão is the best left wing in Serie A: “It’s a very good wing, isn’t it [laughs]? But I shouldn’t say if it’s the best [laughs].”
On wearing the Captain’s armband: “I’m very happy, it’s an honor to have the Captain’s armband. I work every day to get the top.”

Speaking to Sky Italia, the left-back said: “We played a great match, we knew it would not be easy especially on such a small pitch and with these fans in the stands.”
On the standings: “The objective is to win all the games and then let’s see what happens. We are working well every day, we must continue on this road.”
On the Captain’s armband: “I wore it because players like Romagnoli and Calabria are not available, but I’m delighted to be wearing it and I want to continue like this.”

On the renewal: “We are at a very good stage. I’ve been happy here since Day 1. When I spoke to Maldini for the first time he told me things clearly, now we are talking to extend our relationship.”
On becoming the best like Maldini: “I am working every day to improve and maybe follow in his footsteps. I talk to Maldini every day and it’s also thanks to him if I manage to grow.”
