Ciprian Tătăruşanu is the latest Milan player to be diagnosed with Coronavirus.

The current wave of COVID, headlined by Omicron, does not skip Milanello, and today the club announced that yet another Rossoneri has caught Coronavirus.

“Milan announces that Ciprian Tătăruşanu tested positive in a swab carried out at home,” a statement on the Diavolo website reads today. “The player is doing well and will continue the quarantine period according to the instructions received from the relevant health authorities.”

Tătăruşanu will therefore miss Thursday’s game against Roma at San Siro. The Romanian is the 5th Milan player to get COVID this year after Bennacer, Giroud, Theo Hernández and Brahim Díaz.
