Pioli has already given up on the UCL.. I won’t blame him though, the horrible refereeing that cost us precious point is enough to demoralise any coach

Nesta1

After that first leg we should be on 4 points, one behind porto, and Madrid should be on one point. We was robbed big time

Ronaldinho80

Agreee 100% you are right

SOHEIL

Great! We need a win. Pioli starts Krunic! (I feel like “the old man” meme)

SJF

Crazy!

Theo shud play Lw tonight

Christian

Please Milan fans STOP SATANIZING THE CLUB !!! AC MIlan has a CROSS on its emblem, why are you called devils ?!!!

Gbenga AJOSE

You need to ask your head .

SOHEIL

I guess it’s the same thing!

Ronaldinho80

Salad maker + Krunic just marvelous . We are without wingers. Have we ever played that way. I guess Brahim is going to be RW but still.

Ronaldinho80

Am i missing something is Leao not well or somethnig ?

Caesar

The boy needs some rest. He has been overworked of late

Ronaldinho80

If is that bad they could have called him from the start and than according to the game change him

Ranajaya

thank god Pioli doesn’t share 0.00001% DNA with you

Ronaldinho80

Where is yellow againt Theo fucking mafia

Nesta1

Liverpool put quite a strong team out, if they win and we win, makes it interesting. If porto and athletico draw last game, and we beat say Liverpool reserves at San siro we finish second.

Ronaldinho80

Is not camera angle little weird ?

Ronaldinho80

If we had rebic and leao it would have been 2 0 for us by now

Jay

Why are fans whistling when the ball goes to Theo ??

Nesta1

Cos he stood on athletico badge on sideline earlier today, something u not suppose to do apparently. Think he did it on purpose because he was on their books when younger and knows this lol

SOHEIL

Former player, moved to madrid.

Caesar

Liverpool is leading.. it is up to milan to defeat Athletico

SOHEIL

It was up to us from the beginning. Mediocre refs + mediocre players (mainly our backups) leads to this impossible mission

Ranajaya

You just contradicted yourself

SOHEIL

Watching Krunic & Saladmaker trying to TikiTaka is very funny! ,& That shot (or cross) at the end!

We clearly need better players. No flair. No urgency. Just crossing the ball to our tall grandpas

Nesta1

Agreed, we got decent team but players like krunic, saladmaker will never get us to next level. We need right winger, striker and a 10, not sure if this goin to be adli position next season

Sam

Slow ball movement is the reason Milan can’t score goals.

Jay

We are just not international standards!
Pioli has long given up for ucl , he just has to do some acting in the sidelines

Dindudre

Krunic has no business being in this team. Smh you could see our we’re scared to play the ball to the left side cos we are not dangerous from there with Krunic there. Smh. I will rather we played Theo or Messias there. Atleast they’re both a little more skillful. But our coach is as tactically dumb as most of our players. It’s also funny that Kalulu looks more dangerous with the ball on the right than Salamaekers. Smh

Nesta1

When we play out to wing the ball comes bk cos no pace or skill from them, kalalu looks more dangerous as you say. Messias needs to play on right and we should have tried theo on left. Why this florenzi guy never play he’s young lol

Ronaldinho80

Olivier out

Ronaldinho80

We are risking red card

Patinho

Why does Pioli always take out Tonali despite him being the best player in every single game?

Nesta1

Pioli going for it!

Jay

And Bakayoko delivers within first minute !
Shame

Ronaldinho80

Brahim is the man

Ronaldinho80

Ooo my god you got to finish that Bakayoko noooo

Rossi

Even when we get some chance by pure luck, we end up messing it up with clamsy passing and ball controll.

Sam

Theo almost pulled what he did against Fiorentina. He’s too casual and overconfident in possession

Nesta1

Saladmaker plays better on left!

Sam

If Pioli had gone all out this match, we would have won. Sometimes, he makes amateur decisions and it makes me doubt his ability to take us to the top.

Oluwashevy

With a draw we are out of Europe right because head to head there are better I suppose

Ronaldinho80

Great pass from kesse

Rossi

Deserved lead, Atletico was playing for a draw. We wanted this more. Have to hold on now.

Oluwashevy

Have not finish typing there comes the goal Milan Milan

Dindudre

Exactly why Messias should have started instead of Krunic but our tactically daft coach can’t see that. Smh great ball movement from him and great header

dubfire

Stop being stupid. Messias comes after an injury.

Hezs

Why are you like this men. Everyone deserves respect krunic I know he’s slow but he works really hard as for the coach he knows what he’s doing. So no such thing as daft please

Ronaldinho80

Guy we deserve win

Oluwashevy

Wish we won both games at Sansiro Porto and athletico or even won Porto am sure we would have scale through by now anyway all hope is not lost never say never

Ronaldinho80

We are in this mess just because of Turkus refff

Nino

Hakan’s uncles

Nesta1

Messias started it then finished it get in!!!!

Nesta1

What pisses me off though we should be in second on 7 points, that ref got suspended for that 1st leg performance but doesn’t help us!!!!

Ronaldinho80

If it wasnt for reff at home we would have had 7 points now

Signor milan

Messias needed this goal as a booster. Forza milan

Milan10

fantastic footballing feast. congrats to john malkovich and the boys very important win (and still “milanisti” bitch about him, which i dont get because his ppg is > 2. very uninitiated indeed). they’ve clearly been steadily getting better after that lost vs porto and now theyre beating la liga champs at their on turf. milan looked insipid and uncreative with brahim, salad and krunic behind giroud but john really turned the match around once he subbed on ibra, messias and baka. why? because those guys knew how to pass and keep possessions. and what a fantastic header by the messias.… Read more »

Oluwashevy

The painful part is our faith is not in our hands

Milan10

baby steps mate. even sheva’s milan finished dead last in their ucl group even though theyre serie a defending champs. at least this very young squad now know how to suffer and perform vs europe’s big boys. dont forget, they were completely outclassed by porto just last month. next seasons, milan will get better for sure, like sheva’s milan

Nesta1

Messias looked the real deal, drew so many fouls as well, they were scared of his pace. Started move great cross by kessie and finished with a great header. Bakayoko looked excellent when he came on real calming presence in that midfield. We looked a proper team and I think piolis got simeone’s number, twice we beat them if ref wasn’t biased first leg

Milan10

correctamundo mate. messias looked like proper winger tonite. its a shame that twat cakir ruined the match for milan otherwise they would have 7 points now.
oh well, at least the squad know now that they can beat great teams like spanish champs. good for their self-belief, thats for damn sure. just need to trim off their comical slapstick defending. i’d slap theo for doing his stupid ball shielding tonite, even after that calamity vs fiorentina, i were pioli or maldini right now

Nesta1

Messias and faivre for right wing next season be a real difference, adli at 10?

Last edited 9 days ago by Nesta1
Milan10

let messias and faivre fight for rw spot next season. get rid of castipendejo. salad can stay, but only as cm or wingback, if milan ever use 3-5-2 like i’ve been suggesting since morontella days. if kessie leaves (some reports claimed that he actually asked for 6-7m but milan wouldnt offer >4m. if thats true then FU nazidis and eldiott u cheap bastards) then get renato (like i’ve been saying since summer of fatsobelix and morontella) AND kamara (some reports claimed milan wont get kamara if they get renato and vice versa. wtf, get BOTH dammit). get rid of krunic.… Read more »

Nesta1

Yeah defo strong right wing with messias, faivre. Aldli looks really goid I think we should pull him in January for title push, physically strong too where diaz gets knocked off ball alot. If kessie goes which would ba a shame because he was good tonight again, get sanchez he would be great replacement and wants to come to milan reports say. Kamara would be a free player I think, could be wrong not sure but another great signing.

Nino

Who the f’s Thauvin? The guy had a chance to join Milan, but instead went to Mexico and you’re still having orgasm about him? Please, take your nose outta the snuff box.

Faivre may come. Milan have to be tactical in their handling of the situation so that Brest does not get angry and refuse to sell to Milan.

Nesta1

My bad that’s who I meant faivre, guy who we linked with

JaCc

Probably a controversial opinion but I don’t mind starting Salad just for the balance he brings to the team. Can always bring on Messias & Rebic as super subs for more attacking play when we need it.

Nesta1

I thought it was just me but looked at player ratings and they mentioned saladman played well when switched to left. it was great when milan had ball in corner running clock down and he gestured to milan fans to get them going, top lad!

Milan10

salad ALWAYS played better when he came on as impact sub. anyone who actually watches mila, (which im pretty sure u do) knows that. so, its either play him off the bench as impact sub or play him as cm. like i said, he’s actually great at trading low passes with teammates even in very tight spaces, but he sucks on the right flank becuase he cant take on defenders and his crossinngs suck big time. pioli’ll learn, like he always does. kessie as dm, hakan as am, remember? he’s milan10ian

Nino

True. He’s always done very well coming off the bench.

Yes, one could argue that he provides cover for Calabria, but really it’s not like Calabria is constantly bombing down the right like Pendolino. So, Saelemaekers is certainly better off the bench.

Milan10

correctamundo mate. he did so well coming off the bench vs lazio, vs bologna and especially that man of the match performance vs venezia. i think i read his interview few months ago after venezia match in which he stated that he enjoyed coming off bench playing more attacking role after doing the usual more defensive role

Nino

Even in the Derby against Inter…

Milan10

correctamundo mate. he even almost scored a goal by playing more centrally, like i’ve been suggesting pioli to try.
btw, man utd jusf appointed rangnick. lmao, i feel bad for the uninitiated. and for martial, maguire, pogba and cr7; no way they have the stamina and will to pull off that famous sacchi/michels-esque gegenpressing

SOHEIL

One year as a coach, two year as advisor. Maybe in other timelines, He is our coach! Who knew what would have happened if Gaizidis saked Pioli and hired him.

He is great at what he does. Building a foundation for next coach. More of a scientist than a coach.

“Who knew what would have happened if Gaizidis saked Pioli and hired him.” here’s what 100% would’ve happened: maldini – massara – ibra combo would’ve disbanded. now, those guys are key figures of milan’s resurrection and firing them means undoing all the rebuilding process of the past 2+ yrs. rangnick’s arrival would’ve meant year zero all over again, only this time without ibra, who so far has been successful in instilling winning mentality within the young squad. dont forget that 1) milan is 1st in serie a and compete in ucl whereas rangnick’s locomotiv moscow is 4th in russian league… Read more »

SOHEIL

You somehow hate him (don’t know why) but everywhere he worked he created an amazing financial/sport system that works for years even after he left. A highly regarded director/manager/coach and respected even by his rivals. Him joining Milan meant a year zero but sometimes everything you have is wrong and you need to destroy it to make a successful system. Ibra isn’t the reason of our success. Pioli is. Of course he has his effect but right now he has more negative than positives. Our on pitch success is great but we are still far from being a successful club.… Read more »

Milan10

“You somehow hate him” i dont, but i hate nazidis’ arsenal-esque way of doing business. and rangnick’s system would’ve been perfect for his (cheapskate) vision. for all leipzig’s awesome economic model, what have they won exactly? theyre just seller club who sold their head coach AND best cb/player AND capt to bayern all in 1 mercato. F that. this is milan, not atalanta/arsenal/leipzig. “Him joining Milan meant a year zero but sometimes everything you have is wrong” so 1st in serie a and ucl football is wrong now? how wrong is 4th in russian league and playing in EL then?… Read more »

As always, arguing with you is useless. The basic principles of arguing and discussing things is to be open to new ideas & even admitting to things that we are wrong about, yet you always try to make everyone accept your way of seeing things. Take care my friend

Milan10

lol, running away again are we? alrite, i’ll make it very simple for u one last time: rangnick’s arrival would mean pioli AND maldini AND ibra AND massara’s collective departure. would it be worth it, after all milan’ve been through to get back to the very top these past 2 yrs? simple yes or no

SOHEIL

Just a short list of players “the professor” introduced to modern football so maybe you try to learn new things: Haaland, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Naby Keita and Ibrahima Konate Chelsea’s Timo Werner and Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich Tuchel & Nagelsmann are two top managers who were his student. (The list is very long) the success of RBL, Chelsea, Bayern, Liverpool, Dortmund and lot’s of teams are directly affected by his vision. Yet you, a novice football fan, who believed Hakan is our savior, are talking smash about one of the greatest mind of football! yeah. I ran away again.… Read more »

like i said, haaland. but no way werner and firmino are better than mbappe, salah or alisson. dont sell milan’s very own master talent scouts moncada and massara short. kimmich was nobody before pep turned him into lahm 2.0 “the success of RBL, Chelsea, Bayern, Liverpool, Dortmund and lot’s of teams are directly affected by his vision.” so just because he “invented” gegenpressing (something rinus michels and milan’s very own sacchi implemented way before him) and all those scouting and medical systems, he’s directly responsible for bayern’s and liverpool’s successes? lmao. did he call klopp and flick during the games… Read more »

“i know in the end u all will learn and repeat what i wrote. every single time”

Such a sad & pathetic way of thinking.

Milan10

lol like u didnt start repeating what i said about saladmaker playing more centrally, among other things. sooner or later pioli and martinez will do it. u’ll see.

Nino

Wait, are you advocating that Ragnick should have been Milan’s coach? Really? What would he have achieved? Bring up a couple of young talents whom Gazidis can sell off, while Milan fail to win anything or barely make Europa League?

Milan10

“…yet you always try to make everyone accept your way of seeing things”
my way of seeing things is called FACHT. and i encourage milanisti, including u my angry mate, to learn from it *wink

now I understand why u always get thumb downs for your comments. Milan had to invest hard if Milan were to employ Ragnick. Pioli is a cheaper one. When Pioli arrived, all our player is deadwood or at least stagnant, but Pioli changed this. He revived Calabria, Kessie, , Leao, Kjaer (he wasn’t really first-teamer in Atalanta). The underdog status went on Pioli’s ways. and guess what, he got us to this stage. from 6th we went to title contender last season and on joint 1st in the ongoing one. Maldini gets us Ben, Theo, Tomori, Kalulu, Maignan. Some will… Read more »

Baresis Dream

Masterclass by master Pioli. Wow. Wonderful performance by the lads, ultra impressive result against one of the toughest teams in the world, even more at their own turf, in a match for all the marbles. So many players deserve a mention, it’s almost pointless mentioning all of them. From Kalulu who looked like a veteran in the CL, Romag and King Kajaer who completely shut the back down (and helped in possession), Tonali and Kessie (MOTM) who completely controlled the mid, Diaz who for several minutes showed his top form, and Salesmakers who was everywhere and everything. And, of course,… Read more »

It good to win happiness for ever forza Milan

SOHEIL

I’m happy about the result (clearly) but I still believe we need to sign better players. A winger and an attacking midfielder in the winter and a striker for next season. Some players need to shift position. Saelemaekers for example that is useless on the right wing. (He plays better as a super sub free roaming midfielder). I still don’t know what Krunic do in our squad. I don’t want to be disrespectful towards him and he has some good games but at the end if the day he isn’t good enough to wear Milan shirt. Great game by Tata,… Read more »

We defenitly need reinforcments. Our bench is preaty tin as well. You can see that when a starter is missing there is a huge drop in quality with the substitute player in that position. Not just in this game but in general. As for Liverpool it will be hard, but we play at home. I think we can pull it off Liverpool wont be so motivated to win after all.

SOHEIL

After one win, most people in this blog forget about our problems and after one lose, all of them will start #PioliOut again.

As you said, we need quality backups. Krunic is a true professional but he will be a bench warmer even in mid table teams.

Rossi

Lol exactly. Its typical for most of the people here to act that way. With the exception of some, the majority just go with the hype. If we win a game, no matter how bad we play for them we are the best team in the world. Then if we lose a game, even by bad luck, automaticly they turn 360 and hashtag Pioli out, lol. They are probobly just young kids who don have the mental capacity for more complicated analysis yet. Btw that’s why i like your comments mate. You are one of the rare people on this… Read more »

Like I said before now, it is really difficult to defeat milan in a 2 legged tie. I’m sure we would defeat liverpool in San Siro as well, I just hope the other game goes in our favor.

Oluwashevy

If
we win Liverpool which I know it will be a tough one but am sure we will? And athletico win Porto are we going to be second or athletico it’s like we are in 3rd
position currently with goals difference

Martin Bernhard

If milan win 1-0 and atl win against porto 1-0 we will reach next round. If they draw and we win we will qualify. if atletico win with 2-0 and we win with 1-0 they will qualify. In the end it could also come down to cards and in that regard we will most likely not qualify as we are worse in that regard.

Oluwashevy

Wow it’s a cracker I most say Porto Milan athletico all stand a chance But am certain we will be favour by luck we tried a win at Sansiro and we 80percent good am sure athletico won’t lose to Porto in other time secure a place in second round or Uefa cup one of which but would prefer a draw from them

Martin Bernhard

Well i certainly hope and believe in the chance that we can we qualify for the next round but looking at the odds im sure liverpool will be fairly big favourite against us and combine that with our injuries and they have greater depth in the their squads and we are dependent on other results to go go through our chance on paper in odss propably are less than 1/4. When that is said luckily it isnt decided on paper and even if we doesnt manage to qualify i think we have done well in the group looking at the… Read more »

Oluwashevy

Yes we can still stand tall but I feel the problem lay majorly on Porto we could have won in Sansiro atlist since we lost in Portugal we should have returned the favour to them in Italy so we know the fate will just be decided in Sansiro with Liverpool there is still time before the last game our players should be back

Martin Bernhard

No doubt that we should have beat them there but unfortunately that didnt happen. Hopefully we will have some back but it seems like we will be without giroud for some time as well so cant really say im too optimistic about our injuries but atleast we will soon have maignan back even though tatarusano has done overall well minus his drop against fiorentina.

Oluwashevy

What happened to giroud was he injured or red carded bro let’s just hope for the best and luck on ourside

Martin Bernhard

Well as im not a doctor its difficult for me to say if its conflicting info as i first read it was in regard of flexors or something and then reading it was in regard of the hamstring but ive read that we might be without him for the rest of the year. Anyways no official info as im sure they’ll need to do some tests.

Oluwashevy

Wow can we rely on ibra like this now I just pray he try is best to keep fit what of Pelegríni he has not played well if rebic can stay off injured we are covered in a way upfront

Martin Bernhard

Well i think its propably not very reasonable to expect a 40 year old ibrahimovic to play all the minutes in the next month but yeah it should be an opportunity for pellegri to grab his chance while its there. My final verdict on his time with us is yet to come, yes he has played 3 matches for us combined but he has only played 80 minutes combined so he deserves some slack as he has been injured a lot as well. If giroud is out for that long who knows if roback will get a few minutes as… Read more »

Oluwashevy

This is not good news if rebic is out next month Pelegríni will have to step up then and we pray for ibra to be fit that means no rest for Leo then because he will play all the games what’s happening to the labs or is it the tactical method just don’t get well let’s just qualify for ucl and am happy messias is fit again

Martin Bernhard

According to transfermarkt he is expected to return around december 15th not that its carved in stone but i guess he will be out for atleast a few more weeks at minimum.

Ranajaya

Porto is always doing good and a wild card in UCL. They managed to won it with Mourinho and I think they always have talents like Falcao that can win them a match.
Milan was badly hurt when they meet in San Siro

milan4lyf

The insane leap in quality the moment Krunic came off the field made this win possible. I really hope Pioli sees that Krunic is only usable as a sub when defending a 3-0 lead since he offers nothing other than being an engine and tackles, and yes he is good at both, no denying that. Overall a fantastic job from Pioli to pull off that 433 formation with layover balls to keep ATM defenders on their toes all the time. Subs were great. Baka’s long passing is insane. And we have the old Kessie back. Absolute domination of the field.… Read more »
