Rafael Leão is set to stay at Milan as an agreement with his agent is almost final.

Milan are working to keep their core of players and Paolo Maldini & Frederic Massara are actively working on renewals.

As reported by Milannews.it today, significant progress has been made in the talks to extend the contract of Leão.

The 22-year-old has been one of the most important players in the squad of Pioli this season and has shown improvements from all points of view since the start of the campaign.

Leão is represented by super-agent Jorge Mendes and it seems that things are going smoothly between Milan and him. Milannews.it reports that a draft agreement has been reached and the Portuguese is all set to sign a new contract until June 30, 2026. He would of course get a higher salary, which is expected to be around €4 million; a big increase from his current €1.4m.

Rafa is feeling very well at Milan and has never had any intentions of leaving or pursuing a new adventure. Milan also plan to renew Theo Hernández, Ismaël Bennacer and Pioli by Christmas.

No kessie renewal

He didn’t speak of kessie renewal as well or the management given up on kessie perhaps he didn’t qualify for world cup so if I was him would glue my ass to Milan because first team football is not guaranteed anywhere for him
