Mino Raiola met with the management at Casa Milan today, as the Rossoneri plan to renew Captain Alessio Romagnoli and Zlatan Ibrahimović.
Milan are doing well in the league, sitting in 2nd place tied with Napoli. However, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are already thinking about the future and about players with expiring deals.
The Rossoneri today held a meeting at Casa Milan with Mino Raiola, who represents both Zlatan Ibrahimović and Alessio Romagnoli.
La Gazzetta dello Sport, who last week reported that Milan had ‘expelled’ Raiola and do not want to work with him anymore – news that were quickly officially denied by the Club, suggested this morning that Ibra is set to renew his contract with Milan for another year, until 2023.
Romagnoli, meanwhile, at one point seemed certain to leave Milan at the end of the season. However, according to a report on Milannews.it which came out after today’s Raiola-Milan meeting, Alessio would like to keep wearing the Red and Black jersey. However, he would have to take a pay-cut, as he currently has a deal that sees him earn €5 million + bonuses per season.

“It [the meeting] went well. It was a cordial meeting,” Raiola told Milannews.it. “Romagnoli’s renewal? I’m not talking about the negotiations. If he can stay? Everything is possible. If Ibra can stay as well? Everything is possible. Ibra is always the same, he is eager to go to the World Cup.”
The agent was also asked about Gianluigi Donnarumma, who in the summer left Milan for free to join Paris Saint-Germain and is now finding himself struggling for minutes: “It’s not a particular phase for him, it’s just a new phase. There are no problems. If I talked about Gigio with Milan? No. I have not taken away anyone, I’m not a taxi driver, I only do the interest of my clients. I don’t regret anything.”
Both Ibra and Romagnoli trained normally with the squad today and should be fully fit to face Fiorentina on Saturday evening at Stadio Artemio Franchi.
Well… Raiola definitely won’t regret getting the signing bonus from PSG but Gigio might… But that doesn’t bother Raiola one single bit. He’s in it for the dough.
