Davide Calabria is returning home early with an injury, and it remains to be seen if he’ll be able to face Fiorentina.
Calabria came off the bench yesterday in the 80th minute of Italy’s 1-1 draw with Switzerland, replacing Emerson Palmieri.
However, as reported by Sky Italia, Calabria will not be able to take part in Italy’s decisive match on Monday against Northern Ireland due to an injury.
Tests this morning showed that Davide is suffering from a calf problem and the player is therefore going to leave the national team and return to Milanello to treat the injury.
The extent of the problem is not yet known and it’s unclear whether he’ll be fit to play Fiorentina next Saturday. In case he can’t make it, Pierre Kalulu and Alessandro Florenzi can step in.
God damn international break
Agreed hope there no more injurys, on a plus note transfer rumour. Renato sanchez is looking to leave lille who are mid table and he has a contract till 2023.they are masivelly in debt and milan looking at replacing kessie with him. Good signing and hopefully we get him in January and thauvin too, that would be a great transfer window and give us that league title!
Renato would be a top signing no doubt, and can real ease the eventual inevitable departure of Kessie. But with his high price tag I don’t see it happening tbh. Another Lille player who we should keep an eye on is Ikone. Getting these two sets our midfield and winger department for yeats
Yes agreed, I think we should use summer budget to strengthen in January so beat other teams to signing them. It would streghen our right side which is weak and sanchez had a goid game v kessie I heard. Lille in debt big time so we could negotiate a decent price hopefully
Yeah, we can only hope mate
Bennecer stretchered off, hope its nothing too serious
He won’t make the trip to Florence but he will be available for Madrid ucl game
