Jens Petter Hauge at Eintracht Frankfurt. (@eintracht.de)

Jens Petter Hauge’s career at Milan is over and he’ll try to get consistent playing time in Germany.

Hauge arrived in Milan last summer from the Norwegian FK Bodø/Glimt but never really managed to convince coach Stefano Pioli with his performances.

Jens Petter is now heading to the Bundesliga and will be playing for Eintracht Frankfurt, where André Silva excelled after leaving Milan. The official announcement arrived today:

“Milan announces it has sold the sporting performances of Jens Petter Hauge to Eintracht Frankfurt on a temporary loan basis, with an obligation for a definitive purchase upon the occurrence of certain conditions. The Club would like to thank Jens Petter for always showing the utmost professionalism and wishes him all the best for his personal and professional future.”

According to reports in Italy, Eintracht will pay €12m for the obligation for Hauge, for whom Milan paid around €4m. He ends his career at Milan with 25 appearances, 5 goals and 1 assist.

This management is so short sighted and loss good players for nothing

Gems

Yeah and this transfer window is fuct if u ask me I bet we don’t sign any of the 7 names that could replace chanaloglu and we are going to miss his creativity, Diaz is to small and we are to tight arsed to sign vlasic and I bet we don’t sign a right winger either Because we can’t get rid of castellejo and we will be stuck with the bog average right wing saladmaker & castellcrapo , now the dumb idea that Florenzi can play right wing hahaha fuck me wot a joke , right wing was a problem… Read more »

Dwaynek27ism

Why sell him when he has been stepping up when called upon?
We will need to bring in fine depth upgrades for this.

Ink

“…an obligation for a definitive purchase upon the occurrence of certain conditions.”
So those certain conditions may not yet be met over the next season

Niels8

If the conditions are related to cup qualification, I hope they are not met. But if it’s related to performance, not meeting the conditions will mean that even in Eintracht he’s not good enough.

Lando

Kessie, bennacer, theo, rebic, bakayoko are all examples of players who needed time or the right formation to really shine.
They gave chances to the likes of samu and krunic but no chance for hauge? Smh
Heck if I’m not mistaken,,even Kaka was almost loaned out, but Rui Costa was injured so Kaka was staying instead.

Correction mate. Kaka was never on the verge of being loaned out and it didn’t take him long to bench Rui Costa.

I am disappointed that Hauge didn’t get his chance just like Locatelli and Paloschi but this is football. Just ask Chelsea how they feel about losing Tomori, De Bryune, Salah, and Lukaku.

Now look what Chelsea have to pay re-sign Lukaku? That’s nearly triple what they signed him for from Everton.

I wish Hauge the very best and I just hope that Maldini and Pioli improve the team this season. We have to move on.

Niels8

Don’t forget Pogba

ZionTrain

You are right.

Lando

Oh my mistake then.
I feel like i read somewhere that was what happen to kaka.
Yeah totally agree i hope hauge isn’t another mistake by management.
Now i just want to see samu leave too, right wing is in dire need of upgrade

ZionTrain

No worries mate. I would love to see Castellijo leave. I would fly to Milan just to help him pack his shit 🙂

I just hope we get an upgrade like Illicic, Berardi, Politano or Tete. We need goals and assists from our RW which is the weakest link in Milan. If we fix that and the AM we can challenge for the scudetto.

Deku

no Illicic, as a reserve yes, but he’s no way upgrade over Saelemakers, 33yo and was sub most of the last season… we must get Berardi. remember Chiesa? we were linked with him the whole summer mercato, but Juve got a deal of the century, 5M + 30-35M over 2 years. he’s worth over 70M right now. imagine if we weren’t bad at investing… we would have 100% won the scudetto last season with Chiesa on the right flank.

ZionTrain

I’m a big fan of Berardi and Chiesa. It’s a shame we couldn’t get Chiesa but in truth and fairness Chiesa only wanted Juventus. As for Illicic, he would be a good short term solution and it would allow us to pick up a player like Berardi or Tete when their contract is close to expiring which means their transfer cost would be less. But let’s see what Maldini does by the end of the mercato. We also need to focus on replacing Hakan with a top player like Ziyech. But Either way we need to strengthen both the RW,… Read more »

Deku

get similar deal with Sassuolo as Juve had with Fiorentina, Berardi wants UCL. he deserves to leave the team. plus, Locatelli will already generate the necessary fund for them this season. We have to aggressively push for 5-7M loan with 30M split somehow in the upcoming 2 seasons. you tell me we can’t afford 5-7M spending, especially after finishing N2 in italy and getting into UCL? Additionally, Castillejo and Conti should generate extra 13-14M. We are currently at 50-53M in expenditures, 16-17M will come at the end of the season. Not to mention we finished positive last season with 17-18M.… Read more »

Milan Boy

Very true about chiesa but don’t agree completely on Ilicic,he is a good alternation to salaemakers, both have different characteristics and none is a guaranteed starter as their usage will be circumstantial, the former offers more creativity and goals while the latter offers more work rate and overall play

Lando

The thing that worries me right now is how inactive Milan seem in the mercato.
I don’t want another correa case where we chased him all mercato but in the end left empty handed.
It’s almost mid August and we haven’t got our playmaker and right wing

ZionTrain

I understand but some signings will take time and we just have to be patient until the end of the mercato. Castellijo is about to be sold to Getafe for 8m. Caldara is leaving on loan to Venezia and Conti is on his way out too. Milan is about to sign Yacine Adli for 15m from Bordeaux and I think he will be used more as a DM or occasionally AM. If we sign him then that means Krunic is also on his way out. I believe a big signing will arrive towards the end of the season like Ziyech… Read more »

Gems

Ziyech will never fuking happen & definitely
Not on our terms , stop wasting our time on him
& Sign vlasic

Gems

Yes exactly , season starting in just over a week
We should already have our right wing & playmaker , but we keep waiting for a bargain
Or a loan deal and we will finish with nothing and be stuck with the shit that Nobody wants,
We should have bought de Paul and vlasic a month or 2 ago
This is totally fuct

Milan Boy

I think the inactivity is a general syndrome, Milan has done appreciably well and I guess they are taking a breather before they do the final rush.

Gems

Berardi hahaha ur a fukin dreamer
We don’t have money to buy shit
We don’t even want to spend 8-10 mil on ilicic
Let alone anyone else , and we don’t want to spend shit on a playmaker , just testing the waters for loan deals that no clubs want to agree to

ZionTrain

Elliot Fund is multi billion dollar firm that has invested over 700m in Milan. So this is not a money issue.

They will NOT over pay for under performing players that’s why they do a loan with option to buy.

We should have done the same thing with Piatek, Paqueta and Castellijo instead wasting millions of dollars for players we sold for less than what we bought them for. That’s what we did with Tomori which was a smart signing.

Milan Boy

Very well said

Serpent of mondinna

I won’t be surprised if milan didn’t make top 4 this season, because I don’t see how pioli wants to use this attack to play in Europe next season, management couldn’t even buy Kai Jorge for 2m, how do you want to get a quality attacker for less than 25m, this transfer has been so boring this is supposed to be our cl return, we where supposed to strengthen our squad with quality improvement that are young, shit owner

MilanEstonia

I actually wouldn’t be surprised if Inter didn’t finish top 4 this season. All those signings they made last 3 years and right when they needed consistency and stability to win more titles, they’re selling their stars instead. Look at Barca too. PSG has some strange connections, so not going to talk about them. On the other hand, we’re still stable united and financially healthy. Our management is working smart for the future, not just the present. We will surely get a quality AM replacement for Snakan. Speaking of Snakan, the moment he went to Inter, it’s already bad luck… Read more »

dan

hahahaha totally agree on Hakan. I feel he’s going through the same thing Aguero and in a way Pjanic went through going to barcelona. “i’m going to barca to win titles and play with messi….. ” LOL . Hakan join the to play with champions…. gone are Conte, Hackimi, Lukaku and if they arent careful, Sunin will sell Lauraro to complete the dismantling. We have been “slow” in our mercato but sadly we have to take into account we redeemed some of the loans and that’s money spent. With UCL and the African Cup i feel we are going to… Read more »

Gems

Yeah agreed about kaio Jorge , could have put a better offer in for fucks sake

Inter are still stronger than us in my opinion
Even after losing hakimi Lukaku & conte

Deku

We should have at least used this deal in order to get Kamada. 25m for such a good attacking midfielder is a steal.

SJF

Of course sell an exciting young attacker when we have no money for replacements!

No RW, no AM, no DM, 2 old strikers. What kind of a mess have they made!!

SickClub

Release another golden boy again and again.Sick management.

Ted

Bundesliga is made for a player of his characteristics. He will explode there, while we will continue to watch Krunić and Samu on the wings. Of course Leao too, management somehow need to justify their investment even if it does not turn out as expected.

Good luck kid, show them your worth!

Nesta1

Didn’t know kucka signed for Watford! I hope the premiership is a good experience for him he gave his all for the Jersey whenever he played for milan. I still think we were too hasty getting rid of him he could still do a job as cover in midfield for us.

SJF

Totally agree man, kucka played great for Milan. Hed be ideal Kessie back up

dejan10

So tired of this bs watching talented youngsters leave while watching the likes of Castillejo trot out to play every week. I hope the same fans who were calling for Suso to leave Milan aren’t the same ones now moaning about Samu.

Soheil

A goal in every 154 minutes he played for us. He also assisted three goals. Leao (the next Tiery Henry they said) scored a goal every 357 minutes and he played regularly. Even Rebic has a 181minutes record. The way we act toward our younstars, sends a clear message to all players that we want to sign. “We will sell you for profit & capital gain. No matter how good your stats are for us”. (I don’t care about what happens after they leave Milan. The only stats I care about is how they played for us. The love for… Read more »

Comparing Leao/Rebic with Hauge… Not all is based on stats mate. Hauge is slow and predictable, a big club like Milan needs technical players. He would’ve struggled in Serie A. It’s a damn shame but we need money, look at Inter and Juventus, serie a is struggling. You are not seeing the whole picture. He was chubby most of the time at Milan. We got a profit that’s fine. We have Leao, Rebic and Maldini for that left wing. Maldini needs to focus on the RW certainly he must be analysing some players. Florenzi’s rumor came out of nowhere. I’ll… Read more »

Riccardo Montolivo

Failed go mention, WC22, the man needs minutes, he surely asked for the transfer. No one would sit Rebic/ Leao for Hauge. He wasn’t comfortable as a reserve player, that’s the whole story.

Soheil

Why no one would sit leao? What exactly he achieved since coming to milan? He is lazy in defending so not a proper winger. Ge is invisble presence in attack when he plays as striker. We had Leao before. His name was Niang. Where is he.?

Riccardo Montolivo

The fastest goal in serie a? He Is a very good player, he has an attitude and I often called him niang 2.0 but he is the second best winger in our team. Hauge is years behind him.

He is an attacker, leave the defense to the defenders. Leao Theo could be the strongest left wing in serie a. Just give them time.

SOHEIL

sorry but you are delusional! the numbers never lie

Riccardo Montolivo

You never change, disrespecting others people’s opinion. I keep my advice to you, don’t forget to take your pills. You need help.

Soheil

How many times I should tell you this? Respecting other peopls opinion is valid when you don’t face stupidity. And I didn’t disrespectful to you. Being delusional happens to lot’s of people. Mostly to people who believed that Leao would be the next Henry while he isn’t even the next Niang

Soheil

Comparing players with others is wrong. The obly things is important for a striker/winger is scoring goals and assists. Even as a modern footballer, Hauge is much better at defending comparing to Leao. We can say thing based on our imagination but based on numbers, hauge could have scored 15 to 20 goals each season for us. We alson never tried him in AM or RW position. No once. Not in defending stats. No in scoring, and not in assists, Krunic, Samu, Maldini & Leao are better than him. We sold a talent who loved milan. Once again. That’s why… Read more »

Riccardo Montolivo

If that was the case then Giroud would’ve been a disastrous signing. I highly doubt it that he would have reached double digits, he is a one trick pony, take a look at his goals. He knows where and how to shoot, serie a coaches are not dumb, he would get marked and lose possession easily as he has no technical skills like Leao or Relic’s streght and determination. Am? 0 qualities as a midfielder, second striker maybe. RW? His best asset was to cut inside and shot. His left is garbage. We sold him because he needs minutes, he… Read more »

Soheil

100 comments and yet you repeat the same things you say. I show you numbers, you tell me about your strange logics. If it isn’t delusion? What is it? Give me facts. Gove me numbers. Give me anything proven. Not things that happens jn your mind.

Riccardo Montolivo

You want facts? Hauge left because Milan don’t need him. But sure, you know better than Maldini and Pioli.

Again, why did we sign Giroud? The guy’s recent numbers are not good. You want stats go watch baseball.

Soheil

You need to sign yourself up for kindergarten!

Ac milan

The best news of the day: Castellijo agreed to be sold for 8 mil.

Last edited 10 months ago by Ac milan
dejan10

Just read that too – he’s going to Getafe. 8 mil is a great deal considering we should be paying them that amount to take him. But let’s not start doing cartwheels until he’s signed on the dotted line.

Oluwashevy

How true is this because if it’s true am sure the management will look for a good RW To but since he is leaving he should just leave with immediate effect I hope the fans in gatefe come out to cheer for him the way Messi was cheered he will be their new Messi lol

dejan10

Haha, exactly. He was blocking our transfer market for sure. Just like how his football blocked our play on the pitch.

Nesta1

Thats made my day! And realistic good right wingers available, don’t think there is that many who I can think of that don’t cost alot?

Riccardo Montolivo

Ok, now we need a starter for that role.

Piolí must try Diaz as a RW, with Saelemaekers as a back up we should be fine.

We still need a 10 and a 5

dejan10

Agreed. Diaz can’t be our #10. I was never a hater but he’s no Seedorf.

ZionTrain

Totally agree

Ted

I’m just reading on football-italia that Milan rejected the deal cause Getafe only offered a loan. You guys have some updated version of this? Cause the report I read is two and a half hours old…

Riccardo Montolivo

Can’t find another source that can verify the reports from Spain. It looks like Samu was also asked to lower his wage. Maybe that and the dry loan was certainly the cause of Maldini stopping the negotiations.

His wage is low, it doesn’t harm to have him around if you ask me. It’s a long season.

Nesta1

Bordoux president confirms milan leading race for adli and they are close to signing his replacement, looks good player and only 21

Timo

Don’t be too excited. If he finally ends up signing with milan, probably the club will sell him next year for capital gain.

Gbenga AJOSE

Exactly my thought mate .

Ac milan

To be honest, this kid is nothing special. Of course I can be wrong since he is only 21. There are many better 21 years old out there.

Roberto Giano

I think Milan could try Samu as the back up for Kessie. He is good in tackling, work rate and sometimes score from second line.

ZionTrain

I think it’s better to try him out the door and give Getafe any discount they want to get rid of him. That’s a way better solution.

Cunty

Haha U got no idea mate

Ted

It’s sad and embarassing these guys can’t even close loan deal for Florenzi…

ZionTrain

I think they can but they won’t over pay for him because of his age and contract expiring soon with Roma. honestly though we don’t really need him. I think Gabbia and Kalulu are good backups and in my opinion we should move Saelemaekers to RB since he really offers nothing in the attack at RW. Saelemaekers is very good defensively and kinda reminds me of Abate due to his speed and ability to recover quickly if he is beaten by his opponent. That way we can use Florenzi as a backup RW and get a starting RW like Berardi,… Read more »

Ted

Florenzi will be a good addition imo. He’s an energetic workhorse with character and leadership experience. Dude will play his ass off anywhere you put him.
