Brahim Díaz spoke to MilanTV after making his return to the club official.

Brahim made his return from Real Madrid earlier this week, signing a contract with the Rossoneri for the next two years and being given the #10 jersey.

The Spaniard sat down for an interview with MilanTV after putting pen to paper:

On the feelings of being back: “I’m very happy to be here again at this great club: Milan. I’m delighted with what we achieved last season, but a new season begins and I’ll do my best. These colors deserve my very best. That’s what I’ll give.”

On the U21 EUROs: “The U21 Euros were a splendid experience, my teammates were great and we had a good tournament but would have deserved more but I’m very happy, it was a great experience. Now I need to look forward, to the future, I have many experiences to try. My first goal for the national team was one of the best moments in my career, but I had a lot of positive experiences, unforgettable days and moments. Circumstances allowed a lot of players to debut against Lithuania, it was great to score on my debut and I’m really happy with everything. I also had really great moments last year at Milan, moments I will never forget.”

On the number 10: “21 is a number I like a lot, but I also really like number 10. It’s a unique number at Milan, it’s a heavy number that comes with a lot of responsibility because of the importance of the Club and its colors. I’ll give my all for the fans, to be worthy of this great Club. I feel I can live up to the expectations, I love this Club and I’ll do my best for it. I’ve taken the 10 because I like the number and I’m aware of its importance at Milan It motivates and inspires me because at Milan it’s a really important number. I’ll give my all to show my talent and I’ll give my blood, sweat and tears for this great Club and I’ll fight to make it a great season.”

On last season: “Last season was fantastic, I learnt how important Milan is. This season I hope to have an even better year, last season was great but this is a new season and Milan deserves a team worthy of the Club and I am confident we are all ready to do our best and achieve great things.”

On Pioli: “Our success was thanks to Coach Pioli, he created a good team from the experienced players and young players who are growing. We have all learnt a lot from the coach, he taught me a lot last season, under his guidance, and we created a stable squad which had a good season. Now we must improve and, in the Coach’s hands, we certainly will and we’ll have a great season.”

On talking about Milan with Ancelotti: “With Ancelotti I talked about Milan, his heart is Rossonero, he really loves and cares about the Club. He told me to do my best for the Club, that it’s a great Club. He was very happy that I would be returning here, it was great spending time with him, we talked a lot about Milan and how great it is.”

On the Milan fans: “I can’t wait for the fans to be back at the stadium. It was incredible to see how close to the team they were last season, they always supported us, were always by our side. Their support was fundamental to us, they pushed us to give even more. Milan has fans all over the world and they are all incredible. With them at our side, we will give everything for them. It’s a pleasure and an honor to have their support.”

A message to the fans: “I send my best wishes to all the fans, I’m really happy to be here. You are the best fans and I thank you for your support and love towards me and the whole team. Thank you so much.”

For that to happen it seems Samu Castillejo has to be sold, and he appears to have a market. El Chiringuito (via MilanGoleador) reports that Getafe, Celta, Valencia and Espanyol are all interested in the 26-year-old. They add that Milan would sell for an offer of €8m. Finally just sell him quick
