that was a relatively easy win. congrats to john malkovich and the boys for showing mental toughness after that loss vs juve. rino’s milan started to fall apart after loss vs inter but mr john’s milan get back onto winning track seamlessly. the fact that torino didnt really offer real challenge helped too. milan started the match very slowly but they looked dangerous whenever theo, brahim and leaonaldo had the ball. the defense looked much more solid now that tonali and especially simonesta kjaer could play. other players did fairly well too but brahim, kessie and kjaer are men of… Read more »

I must say, calabria is turning out to be a very versatile player . He did really good in the defense and was solid next to kessie at the end .this is what happens when. We have patience and develop these kids. A lot of us were giving up on him last season, look at the kid now.
It’s a lesson we must remember when looking at hauge, leao, tonali heck even bennacer.

It looks like to me that MIlan management is getting overconfident with the versatility of some players and may end up not making any significant investment on the mildfield. Calabria was tested in the mildfield and their judgement seem to have performed well. I just pray this complacency would not turn out to be penny wise pounds foolish.

I disagree. They are working smart like not paying ridiculous fees for young unproven and inexperienced players like Kone. Instead we will sign Meite on loan with an option to buy. That makes more sense. Also Khéphren Thuram is better than Kone and Milan can still sign him and keep him on loan. We also have Poebega who is doing well at Spezia. So there’s no reason to go ape shit over Kone. As for Simakan we already have an agreement with the player. Milan will not be extorted to pay more than 15m. There is also Kabak who is… Read more »

After what fact? We haven’t signed anyone yet and I was never a fan of Milan signing young players like Kone who is not ready for first team football. Kone plays in Ligue 2 compared to Meite who plays in Serie A and played in Ligue 1 for Marseille. Meite also has international experience as well. These are the type of players we need or players like Tonali who has international experience. Kone was a big risk at a big cost. If we signed him for 5m like we did with Hauge it would have been ok but not for… Read more »

In my previous comments I have always mentioned that Soumare and Anguissa are better options to Kone. Go look it up if you are that bothered by my analysis.

Milan haven’t been linked to Meite until recently so there wasn’t much to say about him until now.

Even the uninitiated knows that Soumare and Aguissa are better options, so this is no news and also that’s by no means a unique comment. Most people in this blog have been clamouring for Soumara and Angisa. My point is we should always try to be a proactive analyst and not a reactive one.

None of us work for Milan and we don’t know what players Maldini and Massara are targeting so how in the world can fans be proactive? That makes no sense.

We can only comment on the players Milan are linked with after the fact. That’s what every fan does since we don’t know what is going on with the players management are scouting until we have news or rumors of those players we are linked with. SMDH

We are Milan not a midtable team. We should always aim for the scudetto. I hate it when I hear anyone say that our goal is top 4 and I’ve been hearing that for the past 10yrs.

I never hear Bayern Munich and Real Madrid management or fans talk like this.

Top 4 is unacceptable. We want our 19th scudetto and we are aiming for 20th scudetto to add another star to our badge. We must achieve this before Inter. Period!

I wouldn’t say finishing top 4 is unacceptable given our squad depth. Sure we’re aiming for Scudetto but if we don’t get it I would not write this season off as a disappointment by any means.
