Tătăruşanu: “I’m happy I kept a clean sheet and we won, my role isn’t easy, I hope to always maintain this level”

Ciprian Tătăruşanu talked about his performance and working with Donnarumma and Dida after beating Sparta Prague in the Europa League.

Milan managed to beat Sparta 1-0 at Generali Česká pojišťovna Arena last night with a goal from Jens Petter Hauge, but a lot of the credit goes also to Tătăruşanu.

The Romanian goalkeeper had an excellent match and he denied Sparta of scoring several times, most notably in the 92′ minute in a crucial 1v1. In effect, this save gave Milan the first place in Group H.

“The save in the last minutes? I’m happy, it was a difficult match on a difficult pitch. I’m happy I kept a clean sheet and that we won,” Ciprian told Sky Italia.

“Donnarumma? With Gigio and Antonio we form a good group, my role is not easy, when everyone expects me to be of the same level as Gigio. Today I think I played a good game, I hope to always maintain this level.

“Working with Dida? His presence alone counts a lot, when you have a coach like him he gives you a lot. There are three goalkeeping coaches, they all work well.

“The flaws of Donnarumma? We all have them, no one is perfect. The flaws are not to be told.”

Donnarumma’s flaw is that he does not imposes on corners and free kicks. He is a 196cm 90kg beast and he is insecure of leaving his zone.
