Samu Castillejo said ‘we must be proud of the work done’ after beating Celtic.
Milan made a huge comeback against Celtic last night, coming from 2-0 behind to win 4-2 against Celtic at Stadio San Siro to seal their qualification to the next round of the Europa League.
Tom Rogic (7′), Odsonne Édouard (14′), Hakan Çalhanoğlu (24′), Samu Castillejo (26′), Jens Petter Hauge (50′) and Brahim Díaz (82′) scored the goals in the game.
“We must be proud of the work done, it is thanks to the whole team,” Samu told Sky. “It is thanks to the whole team. We started the game because but the attitude was important. It counts more than the qualification. The personality? Being united and attitude count more than quality sometimes. It is leading us to do well.
“The competition and the players who play less? The coach knows that we are all ready and available, the players who do not play all the games do well anyways.
“The hopes of winning the Europa League? We’ve been thinking about from the start, every competition that Milan play we must try to win.”
