Brahim Díaz has officially signed the contract with Milan and has already trained at Milanello for the first time.
Milan and Real Madrid had been negotiating for Brahim for a few weeks and a few days ago the two giant clubs finally came to an agreement.
Brahim arrived in Milano last night and today he had his medical at La Madonnina Clinic, before heading to Casa Milan for the usual tour in the Mondo Milan Museum and then the contract signing.
The 21-year-old arrives on a pure loan deal with no option to buy for now. Milan and Real were initially talking about a loan with option to buy for the Rossoneri and a buy-back option for Los Blancos. However, in order to speed up the operation, the clubs chose to go ahead with a loan and struck a gentlemen agreement to negotiate regarding a buy option over the course of the season.
“Milan is delighted to announce the signing of the Spanish footballer Brahim Abdelkader Díaz from Real Madrid CF on loan until June 30, 2021,” a statement on the website of the Diavolo reads.
“Brahim Díaz, born in Malaga (Spain) on August 3, 1999, began his career at his hometown club Malaga CF before moving to Manchester City in 2015. He made his first-team debut for Manchester City in 2016 making 15 appearances and scoring 2 goals before joining Real Madrid CF in 2019, netting 2 goals in 21 appearances.
“Brahim Díaz joined his teammates and Coach Stefano Pioli at Milanello Sports Center in preparation for the new season. He will be wearing the number 21 jersey.”

Welcome Díaz…please prove us wrong by doing well. I like the way you hold our MIlan badge though you are still a Madrid player. With that you are already winning my heart.
Welcome. Be the next “Theo” from Madrid. We now have enough cover for attacking departement. Forget expensive Chiesa at the moment. Let see the situation on middle transfer window
After Tonali and Bakayoko we literally have to focus RW and CB. the rest is covered already. well if Laxalt leaves, Mykolenko is a fine LB to act as Theo understudy.
finally, another brahim will wear milan’s #21 next season. benvenuto. from what little i’ve seen of him at man city and madrid, he’s suso on steroid; better, faster dribbling skills, good shooting and passing, and most importantly, good goalscoring ability. an ucl aspiring team must have at least 3 players who can score double digit goals and with rebic, ibra, hakan, brahim, hell even theo milan will have enough firepower. lets hope that samu, saladmaker, paqueta and especially leao will explode too. dry loan deal sucks though and the way pro milan reporters shrug it off as if milan can… Read more »
Good goalscoring ability with 4 goals??
Y are you lying ??
He was fairly prolific goalscoring mf at u23 level but barely played at senior level due to playing at highly competitive man city and madrid. How can u score when u dont even play? Lucas ocampos also looked like garbage but now he scores regularly because he’s regular starter at sevilla. Rebic was also like that at fiorentina. Im pretty sure brahim can follow their footsteps when given enough chance to prove himself
This guy is hugely overrated, if he is that good, why is he not on Madrid team like his fellow youngsters like valverde, vincius, rodrigo etc, he is not even better than paqueta both on marking and hold up play, we may sell paqueta because we want to balance the books though but this guy doesn’t fit this team, he is more of a winger and Not an attacking midfielder, he can’t mark ball and is very light on the ball, I don’t see the reason why Maldini will go for a dry loan on him Just to sign him latter,… Read more »
“This guy is hugely overrated, if he is that good, why is he not on Madrid team like his fellow youngsters like valverde, vincius, rodrigo etc“ theo, hakimi, reinier say aloha
Miranchuk is much better and more of a complete player……now the issue is we don’t have enough cash so we are opting for loan deals…now imagine if Rebic explodes again we have to pay for him, then tonali then if this Díaz gets better we will be in mess whom to pay probably selling Ismaël….but it’s better to play safe with loans then tying up hard cash…..once again RW is must along with reliable cb…..
i dont think miranchuk is much better than brahim. much more proven due to regular playing time, yes. more skilled, lets see next season. i dont know about brahim but rebic and tonali are must buy regardless of how they perform next season because theyre essential for milan’s long term project. hopefully milan can qf for ucl so they can afford both of them. milan were best serie a team post covid break, alongside atalanta and maybe inter so theyre already good without tonali, brahim etc. milan only need to find replacements for biglia and bonad10nho, and a long time… Read more »
