Tiémoué Bakayoko and Brahim Díaz are players Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara focus on, after securing Tonali.
Last night the Diavolo virtually completed the signing of Sandro Tonali from Brescia on a €10m paid loan with option to buy for €15m plus bonuses for €10m.
Milan have no intention of stopping now and they are going to use the same famous formula to land their next targets.
As reported by Milannews.it’s Antonio Vitiello and Pietro Mazzara, Maldini and Massara are now concentrating on Real Madrid’s Brahim Díaz and Chelsea’s Tiémoué Bakayoko, who strongly wishes to return to Milanello.
Milan are working with Real Madrid to find the right formula for Brahim. Los Blancos do not want to lose the player who they bought from Manchester City in 2019. Pietro Balzano Prota believes the deal will be loan with option to buy + buy-back option for Real but there are still no numbers.
As for Bakayoko, Milan have been working on that front for some weeks and they are dealing with Chelsea. Timo should return to the Rossoneri on loan with option to buy and the Diavolo and The Blues are working on finding an agreement regarding the figures of the operation. Bakayoko spent one year at Milan and turned into a fans’ favorite thanks to an excellent second half of the campaign.
Milannews.it also discussed the rumours linking Milan with Lille’s Boubakary Soumaré. The 21-year-old, it’s said, is not a concrete target for the club despite the fact that they’ve inquired about him.

Chelsea has no choice but to lower their demands. Otherwise , they will lose out completely.
I get your point but i dont completely agree as he has 2 years remaining on his contract and they could pretty much wait untill the last days of the transfer window and send him to an english club that would cough up the money to broker a deal. Yeah i know bakayoko isnt really interested in other options than ac milan but if they put pressure on the player and milan he could very well risk not getting any minutes for chelsea in the next year or atleast untill january and that could propably change his perspective of things.… Read more »
I hope u know that Bakayoko is already 26 years and if he doesn’t leave Chelsea this year ,that means he could leave next year when he will be 27 years ! With the fact that he won’t be playing regularly will even depreciate his value the more and by then which reasonable club will want to risk paying 30 m that Chelsea is demanding. Am sure Chelsea is aware of this but they are just playing waiting game which could backfire ..
not sure you understood what i meant then because it was exactly in the risk of bakayoko ending up benched several months untill january that could make him join another team last minute if chelsea was to play hardball untill the last days of this current window. Bakayoko deal seems to be a fairly cheap loan deal with option to buy and im sure chelsea would prefer to have a guaranteed sale. Its actually not far farteched but i doubt it will happen and really hope he will come back to us as we will have a strengthed midfield with… Read more »
So player in their 26 – 27 are now considered old?
What happened to football lol
Bakayoko is now the 4th choice in our midfield. The pressure is certainly on Chelsea. Loan with option max 20m.
In any case it is rather unlikely to keep him next year with a figure higher than that. Actually if Brescianinni does a good season he won’t probably stay even with 15m.
Diaz is certainly more promising project. Buy back clause should be at least 15-20m higher than option to buy (like Morata deal with Juve).
Still. It sure about Diaz. Milan are really focusing on him when there’s a good chance it will just be dry loan. What’s Milan’s plan B. We haven’t even looked at other options. I’d say neres from Ajax. He was a target a while ago. Or maybe go back for saint max. We need speed on the right but we have to be able to buy or at least have the option to buy. I still think we need another atm. Domink would be perfect honestly and he’s just 25 mil
Pessina for 6-7M.
Dominick is a back up for haka will 10 in midfield
who’s Dominick? XD
If Baka in, Pobega should go on loan again. He would be the 5th choice
Well, I think Baka is a surplus now. If the deal isn’t economically favourable to Milan it shouldn’t be done.
And now, Milan going for Chiesa. What a blockbuster mercato we are having if we pull this off. Champions League looks a sure bet as long as we dont self destruct.
