Sandro Tonali is practically a Milan player, according to reports in Italy.
Milan have beaten Inter to sign one of the brightest talents in Europe, as Tonali will be joining the Rossoneri from Brescia.
As reported by Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio and others, an agreement has been found between Paolo Maldini and Brescia President Massimo Cellino this evening.
The 20-year-old is arriving on a paid loan worth €10 million with an option to buy for €15 million. In addition, there will be €10m in bonuses going Brescia’s way should certain personal and team objectives will be reached.
Antonio Vitiello of Milannews.it reported that Tonali had been pushing for a move to Milan as he’s a Milanista at heart and that Sandro in fact is the biggest ally of Maldini in the negotiations. Cellino suggested this weekend that Tonali was in a hurry to know his future, which is now set.
The details still need to be ironed out but unless something truly sensational happens, Tonali will be a Milan player next season. He’ll sign a five-year contract with the Diavolo.
