Zlatan Ibrahimović and Gianluigi Donnarumma took a helicopter and flew to Monte Carlo on Saturday, where they will meet their agent Mino Raiola.

There are two more games until the end of the season and Milan are trying to catch Roma and finish in 5th place in Serie A.

However, the Diavolo are already starting to think about the next campaign and have already started shaping the squad of Stefano Pioli for next season.

Two players who Pioli will definitely want to keep working with, are Zlatan Ibrahimović and Gianluigi Donnarumma. The contract of the Swede, who joined the Rossoneri in January, expires in 10 days, while Gigio’s deal expires in 2021. And so, it’s clear that contract renewal talks are needed.

As shown by Donnarumma’s Instagram story, on Saturday the 21-year-old and the 38-year-old got on a helicopter to fly out to Monte Carlo straight from Milanello. According to Milannews.it, the players are expected to meet their agent Mino Raiola and talk about their contract situations at Milan. Journalist Daniele Longo claims news can be expected by the middle of the week in regards to Zlatan’s future, with the Swede asking for €6m per year contract and Milan offering €4m.

Milannews.it believe the situation of Donnarumma is easier, as the sides are negotiating on the bonuses for a contract until 2023. Raiola apparently want like an exit-clause in case of no UCL.

Why there are so much rumours about tonalli and roca..hope that doesnt mean an exit bennacer bcz I dont think we gonna spend 30-40m for a sub. I think we should for an attacking midfielder like chiesa or sbozlosai, maybe a striker, solid rb and cb backup

Gazidis you _________ are responsible for the sale of Locatelli, Cutrone and Piatek, give Zlatan whatever he is asking, without him this team will crumble.

This is not about Bennacer, Pioli or Rebic. The really influential player in this team is Zlatan Ibrahimovic, yes he is injury prone at his age, yes he is expensive, but some player you keep until they retire. Give him another season FFS.

No dude, that’s my opinion. Pioli and the team deserves praise, but Zlatan has become the leader of this team. I think is time to listen very carefully, Rino said this team don’t believe in themselves, Zlatan gave the team balls. Rino also said we needed experience, well, Kjaer and Zlatan gave this team a new face. Giampaolo blamed the players and he was right, the players didn’t want him and did not gave their all. Maldini did just one bad move IMO by sacking Rino. The rest has been an immense job. I seriously think that without him, Theo… Read more »

6m for ibra 39. Some say he’s past it or that’s too much. Ibra is ibra. Now as much as I would love for him to stay we have to look at the financial aspect and his age considering other players on the market. Cavani is a free agent and he has a much higher salary. He’s younger faster and I believe he can still play at the highest level for another 2 or 3 seasons minimum. A salary of 6m for cavani should be enough to entice him to Milan. Yes we don’t have cl. A longer contract his… Read more »

I wish they were flying out to meet a normal agent… Both need to stay but I think Ibra’s more responsible than anyone for the transformation of this team.
