Ricardo Rodríguez has left Milan in hope to get more playing time in Holland.
Ricardo Rodríguez lost his place in the starting XI this season due to the brilliant performances of Theo Hernandez.
Rodríguez, whose contract with the Rossoneri expires in 2021, has decided to leave Milan this January and after holding talks with Fenerbahçe and Napoli, he’s signed with PSV Eindhoven.
“Milan announces that Ricardo Rodríguez has joined PSV Eindhoven on a temporary basis. The Club wishes the player all the best for the rest of the season,” a statement on the club’s website reads.
PSV’s statements reads: “PSV have strengthened their squad by completing the signing of the experienced full left-back Ricardo Rodríguez. On Thursday evening, the 27-year-old, who has won 71 caps for Switzerland, put pen to paper on a loan deal that will keep him at PSV until the end of the season. “
In two and a half seasons at Milan, Ricardo Rodríguez played 92 games and scored 4 goals. With the EURO’s coming up, he will look to get more playing time.
