Ricardo Rodríguez is all set to join PSV on loan with obligation to buy.
Milan bought Theo Hernandez in the summer and his excellent performances have made them never look back and use Ricardo Rodríguez again.
The Swiss left back, who joined in the summer of 2017 of Mirabelli and Fassone, is now ready to leave Milan and pursue playing time in a different league, ahead of the EURO’s in the summer.
Rodríguez was first supposed to join Fenerbahçe but that deal broke down to the problems of the Turkish with Financial Fair Play. It then seemed as though Rodriguez was heading towards a reunion with Rino Gattuso at Napoli, but today a deal was agreed with PSV Eindhoven.
According to Sky Italia, Rodriguez will join them on loan with obligation to buy. Pietro Balzano Prota of RadioRossonera suggests that tomorrow Ricardo will be in the Netherlands for his medical. The Rossoneri, as reported by Sky, are interested in Matías Viña of Nacional as Rodriguez’s replacement. Milan’s first offer for €1.5m for the loan of the 22-year-old with a buy-out option set at €7m.
Palmeiras are also interested in Viña and are offering €5.5m for half of his card. However, the player, who Frederic Massara has been following since his Roma days, wants to join Milan.
