Fabio Borini has officially joined Hellas yesterday, ending his Milan adventure.
Borini signed with the Rossoneri in the summer of 2017 during the summer of former directors Marco Fassone and Massimiliano Mirabelli.
Fabio’s contract with Milan was due to expire at the end of the season, but the sides chose to separate as Borini did not find any space under Stefano Pioli.
“Milan announces that striker Fabio Borini will join Hellas Verona Football Club from January 14, 2020,” a statement on Milan’s website read yesterday. “The Club would like to thank Fabio for his professional commitment to the Club and would like to wish him all the best of luck for his future career.”
Hellas’ statement confirmed that Borini has joined them until the end of the season. He will wear the #16 jersey there.
