Mohamed Elneny’s father has stated that his son wants to join Milan, but Zvonimir Boban has denied any interest.

After an extremely disappointing first half of the season, which peaked in the embarrassing and humiliating 5-0 defeat to Atalanta last week, the club directors are working to reinforce the squad.

Zlatan Ibrahimović will be the first signing of January, but arrivals are expected in other departments as well.

Yesterday, Mohamed Elneny’s father Nasser spoke to Sada Al Balad TV to apparently reveal talks between his 27-year-old kid and Milan: “The negotiations between Mohamed and Milan are at an advanced stage, but the contract has not been signed yet,” he said, as reported by Milannews.it. “They have renewed interest in my son and the next few hours could be decisive to sign with Milan.

“He did well with Beşiktaş but he wants to move to a stronger league, to Milan.” However, Egyptian journalist Mohamed Almahmoudy, who also works for La Gazzetta dello Sport, confirmed on Twitter yesterday that Zvonimir Boban told SportSport FM that there is no Milan interest in Elneny.

Nicolò Schira stated that while Elneny was offered to Paolo Maldini, the Rossoneri are looking for a midfielder with other characteristics. The 27-year-old is owned by Arsenal, on loan at Beşiktaş.

Thank God because I’m tired of average players at Milan. We should be look at Allan from Napoli or Sander Berge from Genk or Lobotka from Celta Vigo.
