Alessio Romagnoli has apparently joined Gianluigi Donnarumma and Jack Bonaventura and is now a Raiola guy.
Romagnoli signed a contract extension until 2022 in the summer of 2018, when Milan were still in the hands of the Chinese, with Marco Fassone and Massimiliano Mirabelli in charge.
After Leonardo Bonucci returned to Juventus in the same summer, Alessio was also named the captain of Milan and his current deal see him make €3.5m – the same as Lucas Biglia and only behind Gianluigi Donnarumma.
However, Romagnoli has decided to leave his agent of many years, Sergio Berti. This was already reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport and others a while ago. Today, Sportmediaset is reporting that the 24-year-old center back has decided to sign with super-agent Mino Raiola.
Raiola’s other clients at Milan are Gigio and Jack. It remains to be seen what this decision means for Romagnoli’s future, as at the moment it doesn’t seem that Milan will be in the UCL next year either.
