The Milan fans will keep coming to San Siro, as they’ll hope to see a convincing win on Stefano Pioli’s first match.
After seven rounds, in which Milan lost four games and won three, the management decided to make a change on the bench: sacking Marco Giampaolo and appointing Stefano Pioli instead.
The journey of Pioli, who previously coached Inter and Fiorentina, with the Rossoneri starts on Sunday at Stadio San Siro as they face newly-promoted side Lecce at 20:45 CEST (Italian time).
As reported by today’s La Gazzetta dello Sport, despite the hardships of Milan so far this season and the fact that the opponent is not top-tier, around 50,000 fans are expected at the stadium for the match against Lecce. Over 2,000 away fans are likely to come and fill the sectors of the guests.
In the last home game against Fiorentina, Milan lost 3-1 and the Curva Sud vacated their seats before the end of the game in protest. Hopefully, such a gesture will not be needed this time.

Again, loser mentality against a winning one, that complicates the situation. I just hope the squad is hungry for redemption and wins 3-0 like they should

says the very le midtable who praises calabria

Wake up, we are not the Milan we fell in love with, but I still have love for the team, and I’ll continue to support it even if Gazidis becomes coach and Borini is given the armband. You are a clever guy, FFP, how can we deal with that? Depending on what we currently have, next transfer window we can speculate. I might have a conformist mentality, but your annoying seek of attention going the easiest past that is talking about or past glorie is so lame. But I… Read more »
“ and I’ll continue to support it even if Gazidis becomes coach and Borini is given the armband.” see? this is textbook les midtables mentality. if that happens then milan would seriously go down to serie b and this le midtable admits he’s continue to support anyway instead of revolting to show he actually cares. also, when did i ever say milan could get messi and klopp NOW? milan could and definitely should get unwanted or old players like modric, mueller or ozil but why would milan attempt to get klopp or messi? i mean, i know les midtables like… Read more »
Please show us the reason why we should keep on watching Milan’s matches.
no one puts a gun to ur head and forces u to watch milan mate
Yes of course. lol
But this time I think what Curva Sud did showed the psychology of many Milan fans.
well yeah. sucks for them who have bought the season tickets though. i think the message we milanisti must send to mgmt is: we will still watch milan but we aint giving u money by attending the match at san siro. instead we’ll watch the “bootleg” version on tv. kinda like cheap ass hipsters who dont want to watch their fav bands live haha
