Milan had a training match against the under 18 side earlier today.

13 first team players are currently on international duty and so Marco Giampaolo is forced to be working with a reduced squad in these days.

Today, Giampaolo’s boys had a training match against the Under 18 side (not the Primavera) on a small-size pitch at training session Milanello.

As reported on acmilan.com, the match lasted about an hour and ended in an 8-1 result in favor of the First Team, who were also reinforced by a number of Primavera players. Fabio Borini (x2), Luan Capanni, Marco Brescianini, Samu Castillejo, Davide Calabria, Giacomo Bonaventura and Giacomo Olzer scored for Giampaolo’s men, while Simone Bassoli found the back of the net for the U18 side.

The team will now have two days off before returning on Tuesday. Milan’s next game is against Hellas Verona at Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi next Sunday (20:45 CEST kickoff).

First team: Antonio Donnarumma; Andrea Conti, Mateo Musacchio, Léo Duarte, Davide Calabria, Fabio Borini, Marco Brescianini, Giacomo Bonaventura, Giacomo Olzer, Samu Castillejo, Luan Capanni.

Under 18: Leonardo Moleri; Matteo Cattaneo, Marco Bosisio, Matteo Angeli, Pietro Grassi, Mattia Cretti, Lorenzo Colombo, Enrico Salvatore Di Gesù, Francesco Palmieri, Mintasinot Luscietti, Kelvin Cudjoe; second-half substitutes: Cassano, Andrea Malinverno, Simone Bassoli.

Tweaaaa
Milan…it is a joke . u even conceded too
Milan? Hmm
For me Gatusso shd had continued n motivated instead of rush for new coach,
Giampaolo with sampdoria over years placed 8 n gatusso with milan over 2 yes placed 5th , who is better to improve with the team ?

Coach Seedorf

Great!!! I’m glad about one thing. The goals have started coming in. 8 goals in 60mins is a good sign. Even if they are u18, they are professional footballers, afteralwe couldn’t beat 2 Seria c sides in pre-season so this is a sign that we’re getting ready for the derby and Seria A proper.

@coach seedorf…u made me laugh till my PC fell…milan u18…8-1….well….at least i’ve been milan fan since 1993, in my area now all milan fans have given up. my brother i have the way i rate milan to compete amongst first 4 (atleast a well made star or a first class coach)…example remember when ibra was here, he didnt do anything spectacular but his presence was enough to win against big guns…which one do we have in milan now? so currently am banking on hope+luck

Conte is having a panic attack at the moment

Benson Milan

Are you serious???

Joey

Wow no one should hype them up, casti and borini are not good enough to be starters

Ted

Don’t expect fireworks from this team any time soon. They are the youngest team in Serie A with an average of 24 years and no proper leader among them.

No proper playmaker either. I will never accept Suso as a trequartista. Should get rid of both Suso and Castillejo when they had a chance.

Btw, I’m watching Finland – Italy right now and I’m getting hick ups over Sensi. The boy is really lively in the midfield.
