Ivan Strinić has officially left Milan after terminating his contract today.

The decision regarding Strinić has already been known for a few days and there were even rumours that the contract had already been terminated.

But, today things became official: the 32-year-old Croatian was at Casa Milan on Monday morning and this evening the statement of the club was released:

“Milan (The Club) announces the termination by mutual consent of the contract with the defender Ivan Strinić. The Club wishes the footballer every success in his future career.”

Strinić arrived at Milan last summer but due to a heart problem he never made an official appearance. He had a contract until 2021 but he is now free to choose his next destination.

Even Richardo Raudriguez should be sold for a new wing back, even Calabria should be sold for Yucef Atal of Nice.
