Frederic Massara spoke briefly about the transfer market before Milan’s match against Udinese.
The transfer market ends on September 2nd but tonight all focus is on Stadio Friuli for the Rossoneri as they start their season against Udinese (18:00 CEST).
Milan director of sport Frederic Massara was caught by Sky Sport before the game to give a few statements on the plans of the Diavolo for the last market week:
“Suso is a strong player, we want to keep him. The market is open and sparks a lot of work for journalists, but we absolutely want to keep strong players,” Massara said. “Correa? It is a suggestion strongly fueled by the press and by the desire for fireworks… we want to make functional purchases, we’ve made them and we are happy with our personnel and it is complete the take on the league.
“André Silva? He is ready to play, he is focused on the game, as we all are, as it is a very important match. He is a strong player, can work as a center-forward or a support striker. He is a complete forward and hasn’t expressed all his capabilities at Milan, but we hope that he still can.
“He is a player we believe in and we think he can give so much to Milan.”

Good Lord, where do you start. Well, he isn’t going to devalue Silva, so one can only hope that they really don’t truly believe that or we are in more trouble than I thought. I’d hope the former part if the article is more PR as well.
