Pescara leaders had a meeting with Milan at Casa Milan on Wednesday and they probed the ground for several young profiles owned by the Rossoneri.

Yesterday Pescara President Daniele Sebastiani, accompanied by director Antonio Bocchetti, were at Casa Milan for an encounter with the leadership.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport Italia, some youngsters were discussed during the meeting as the Serie B side is looking for reinforcements.

The profiles that were talked about, as per Di Marzio, were Matteo Gabbia, Alessandro Sala and Tommaso Pobega, who Pescara are targeting for 2020/21 as he already left this summer to join Pordenone on loan with option to buy – but with the Diavolo retaining a buy-back option.

Sportitalia’s Alfredo Pedullà confirms that Pescara made an attempt for Gabbia, but the Rossoneri told them he’s not available. La Gazzetta dello Sport’s Nicolò Schira is adding the name of Daniel Maldini to the list of players discussed. Schira adds that Pescara tested the ground for Daniel but Milan consider him off the market and they want him to grow in the Primavera and the first team this year.

Maldini was featured during the pre-season, playing the role of the trequartista and second striker. Daniel is training with the first team but will most likely play the season with the Primavera.

Daniel is ready for the senior team. He was just too nervous in preseason playing those aways games. I hope he makes his debut at home next season. Then he may go on and conquer a spot after that. He has both qualities and great attitude. I think the long term vision for the Milan management is Leao and Daniel for the attack.… Read more »

No 3 you mean?

He forgot Maldini played with 3. I would say that we mustn’t sell any player of Primavera who is a hot prospect for the future, like Gabbia, Capanni, Sala, Maldini, Plizzari, etc.

Why not? He is not in the first team. He is not as talented as others. “He is not happy about being on bench”. He is 100% capital gain. So why not?
