Agustín Jiménez, the agent of Ángel Correa, was at the Rossoneri HQ today, while Jorge Mendes is trying to complete André Silva’s sale to Monaco.
The Rossoneri have today announced the signing of Rafael Leão from Lille but he is not going to be the last addition in attack.
Milan have been chasing Atletico Madrid’s Ángel Correa for a while but there are still some distances between their offer and the request of the Spanish club.
Today, in any case, the agent of Correa, Agustín Jiménez, was at Casa Milan. As reported by Milannews.it, Sky and others, the representative of the Argentine was at the Diavolo HQ for about an hour and a half.
La Gazzetta dello Sport’s Nicolò Schira reports that Milan and Jiménez have come to an agreement over the personal terms of the player – a five year contract worth €3m yearly. The meeting was between Jiménez and Zvonimir Boban & Frederic Massara. Technical Director Paolo Maldini, according to Sky, was at the time at Milanello watching the training session of Giampaolo’s boys.
RadioRossonera’s Pietro Bolzano Prota meanwhile suggests that Jorge Mendes continues to ‘work hard’ on the sale of André Silva. The Monaco option is still available and there should be updates on this front soon. Silva already underwent a medical with the French club but didn’t join them.
Silva is not in the plans of Giampaolo for next season, and the attack of Milan would most likely consist of Piątek, Leão, Suso, Castillejo, Borini and possibly Correa in the upcoming season.
