Alessandro Plizzari is ready to pack his bags and move to Tuscany for a chance to play consistently in Serie B.
Plizzari spent the 2018/19 season sitting on the bench of Milan but next season he is going to be loaned out and get some important minutes for his growth.
As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, after a couple of weeks of negotiations, Plizzari to Livorno on loan is a done deal.
Two years ago the 19-year-old goalkeeper, who was very impressive in the U20 World Cup with Italy earlier this summer, played on loan at Ternana Calcio and now he is returning to Serie B with the aspiration of being the first-choice ‘keeper at Livorno and proving his worth.
It would of course not be necessary to replace Plizzari in the squad, as Gianluigi Donnarumma, Pepe Reina and Antonio Donnarumma all look set to stay and be Marco Giampaolo’s options.
Why? I wished we had him as a backup and unloaded Reina.

No, Plizz needs to play consistently
doesn’t his contract expire in 2020? does it mean after his loan we lose him for free?
A fan with Milan in his veins knows that Plizzari renewed his contract until 2023 !
So until now, Giampaolo wants to keep Gabbia, he loaned without option to buy Plizzari and Bellodi ( that is meaning the 2 players have a future at Milan ), loaned with option to buy and buy back option Pobega ( meaning they want the player back if he develops into something good ) and are still thinking what to do with Maldini, Brescianini and Capanni ! They also have a buy back option for Bellanova if the player develops well and one of Conti/ Calabria doesn’t perform or is sold ! Capone will surely play at Primavera this year… Read more »
