The interest in Jordan Veretout is still strong, and it seems that the Rossoneri also like Fiorentina captain Pezzella.

Pre-season has already begun but the squad of Marco Giampaolo is still far from complete. As stated by Giampaolo, Zvonimir Boban and Paolo Maldini, the club is looking for players who are ‘functional’ to the style of the coach.

And it’s very clear that the management believes that Jordan Veretout is a functional player, as they have been chasing him for quite some time now.

As reported by Di Marzio, Milan have set up a meeting for tomorrow morning with Fiorentina to discuss the Frenchman. The desire is to find a solution that satisfies everyone and to put an end to the negotiations. Yesterday, meanwhile, Roma made an offer of €16m plus bonuses for the player.

Both Di Marzio and Milannews.it suggested last night that Milan are only willing to make offers to Fiorentina for Veretout that also include Lucas Biglia, as the Rossoneri want to get rid of the 33-year-old Argentine and his €3.5m per season salary. Montella likes the player but so far Fiorentina have not shown willingness to accept anything but straight cash for the former Nantes man.

The clubs will meet and talk tomorrow and it’s likely that they will also discuss Germán Pezzella, 28. The Argentine, who was only named captain of the Viola before the last season, could leave this summer and yesterday Milan had a meeting with his agent Martin Guastadisegno at Casa Milan. Milannews.it reports that the interest is real but Fiorentina want €20m for the center-back.

Di Marzio reported yesterday that the Rossoneri are also thinking about 20-year-old center back Dayot Upamecano of RB Leipzig, but the German side is demanding a lot of money, reportedly €30m.

What I can remember the two players Acmilan brought from Fiorentina was not so good,.
Nikola Kalinic was a pusy cat ,Montolivro was never proof it , why they’re fighting for Jordan veretout for now, just follow Manaco after they came up from second division, brought top players to put the team up, 2th place finished at that time

Yeah, an Italian international starter ahead of verrati who missed two WC because of Injuries who at Milan had the best interceptions per game ratio in the league but yeah. F him.

Not all players from Fior its bad as you thought. Imagine if we can bring Chiesa to san siro. Veretout in my opinion its fine player, Napoli and Roma also take interest in him. Maybe Maldini and Boban want to give Giampaolo another option in Milan midfield.
PS : Rui Costa also came from Fiorentina btw

both solid additions if Pezzella won’t interfere with Caldara’s development and if Veretout won’t be in starting 11. I hope we can use both Biglia and Suso to push for a straight swap. we’ll need to swap Kessie for either Torriera or Neves and I think we can call this Mercato a successful one. Getting Everton would also be a dream, he could be false 9, with Piatek as his partner.

Really in my opinion veretout is not a bad player actually he’s a good regista although we’ve been hearing 40m £ investment will be made at midfield players like paredes /neves but I don’t think it’s gonna happen so let’s be logical due to the well known reasons we have.Upamecano is a beast if we sign him Barcelona Man utd are somehow blind only singing well known defenders so I hope we get veretout not pezella.

Pezzella or Upamecano?
How do they play?
