Ozan Kabak is the new name for the Milan defense and Sky Germany believes that the Rossoneri are the favorites.

Milan have been linked with a number of center backs this summer, from Joachim Andersen and Gianluca Mancini to Kostas Manolas and Dejan Lovren.

However, last night Gianluca Di Marzio reported that the new name the Rossoneri are thinking about is Ozan Kabak.

Kabak joined Stuttgart in January for €11m from Galatasaray and even though he played just half a season in Germany and eventually faced relegation, he was named Bundesliga Rookie of the Season. Kabak has a €15m release clause due to the fact that Stuttgart were relegated.

Di Marzio noted that on Tuesday Maldini met at Casa Milan the intermediaries Empacher and Vjetrovic, who were accompanied by Ozdemir brothers – the agents of the 19-year-old Turkish player. According to Sky Sport Germany on Wednesday, the Rossoneri are the favorites to sign Kabak and talks between the parties involved are said to be in an ‘advanced stage’.

Sky Germany claims that Porto and Monaco are also interested in the player, in addition to Bayern Munich who have shown interest. Time will tell if Milan’s interest in the player is more than a rumour.

We r not in a strong financial situation so we should more careful abt new signings….Younger players r appreciated but we must be careful abt mediocre players….we need 5 new singing for a new beginning ( 3 mid, 1 CB, 1 LB) n buy them very carefully
