Torreira’s agent, Bentancur: “I know nothing about the interest of the Rossoneri, no one has contacted me”

Lucas Torreira’s agent has suggested he’s only heard of Milan’s interest from the media, but admitted a call from Marco Giampaolo would be ‘special’.

It is believed that the dream signing for midfield for Paolo Maldini, Zvonimir Boban and Marco Giampaolo, would be Arsenal’s Lucas Torreira, who played under Giampaolo at Sampdoria in the past.

For now, however Torreira seems unattainable, as according to Sky Italia this week – Arsenal are not open to selling the player. In any case, his agent Pablo Bentancur spoke to Calciomercato.com today, denying ever being in contact with Milan:

“I know nothing about the Rossoneri’s interest, no one has contacted me. I have learned of this possibility through the press. If Giampaolo’s call could be something special for Lucas? Yes, clearly.”
