Milan are thinking about the transfer market and it is reported that Elliott have allocated more signings money.
The Rossoneri still don’t officially have a Technical Director (will be Paolo Maldini), a Sporting Director (Igli Tare is the top candidate but he may stay at Lazio) or a coach (will be Marco Giampaolo), but the summer mercato is already starting to be outlined in the minds of those in charge.
CEO Ivan Gazidis claimed that there will be no signings of top players, but instead the focus will be on creating a mix of quality between young players and those with more experience.
According to Sky Sport 24 on Sunday, owners Elliott have decided to increase the transfer budget available for new signings from €25 million to €40 million. So Maldini and the chosen DS will have this figure, in addition to whatever revenue they make from player sales, to invest in the squad.
The mercato will be a dynamic one for Milan as they’ve already said goodbye to Ignazio Abate, Riccardo Montolivo, Jose Mauri, Cristian Zapata and Tiémoué Bakayoko; and more exits will follow.

We’d have about 100 mil budget after selling Donna for 60mil. With 100 Mil we can buy Barella as regista position (20+cutrone) to replace bakeyoko/biglia, Chiesa (20) as att.Mid to play along with bona in the middle which could be a significant upgrade. So we will have 60 mil to replace Donna and Cutro which could be a good option. But if we want to buy tonali(30 mil) or any other CB such as lovren(20Mil rumored), we may need to sell more. Sell suso for 40, hakan for 30 and Silva for 25, plus the 40 they are going to use and that’s 135 mill for transfers. There’s no reason why we can’t buy 2 good fast and skillful wingers for 35 /40 each that can easily play in a 4312, 352 or 433. That still gives us 55 to play with. Promote tsadjout/maldini, torrasi and gabbia. That gives us our back up forwards, back up atm that can learn from bona and paqueta. And a back up for our defense. You must not have read my post clearly. I said 2 wingers that can play in a 4312, 352 or 433. You don’t think I realize a 4312 doesn’t need wingers. It’s for tactical variation. Hakan has proven to be too inconsistent to keep so he needs to be sold. Also your forgetting the wingers we have been looking at, they have been 40 or less. Yeah, next year we will be blaming the coach again like we have done it since Berlusconi stopped spending. You can blame the Chinese all you want but Conti, Mussacio, RR, Jessie, Biglia, Calhanoglu, Bonucci-caldara Silva where all bought in the same transfer window. What will FFP do? Ban Europa League? If we sell Donna,Suso,Silva,Samu we may get around 150 million + Elliot’s 40 million =190 million!!!!!!!……that’s huge for us at the present situation….. we should buy Prayet,Anderson(Sampdoria), Sensi(Sasuolo),De Roon(Atalanta as CDM), Hakim Ziech(Ayax as 2nd striker), will cost 135 million according to their released clause….. then we can play 4312 or 352 under Mr. Giampaolo n bring our glory……what abt Rabiot as free agent?????

I get what your saying but we can’t buy anyone without selling ppl. And we certainly can’t buy 5-7 ppl that are quality so we will have to gamble on cheap 10 mil players. Or we can sell players like hakan and suso and Silva along with the 40 we have to invest and we can get better quality as well as integrating youth players to help fill the void of dead weight that left
