Frank Tsadjout scored a brace for Rino Gattuso’s boys as they beat Alessandro Lupi’s Primavera in a training match.
There are eight days until the Derby della Madonnina and 10 players are on international duty, so Rino Gattuso used Saturday’s training session to have an inner game against the Primavera of Lupi.
Lupi used a 4-3-3 formation, starting Matteo Soncin; Sergio Sanchez, Alessio Brambilla, Marco Brescianini, Samuele Ruggeri; Emanuele Torrasi, Riccardo Montolivo, Antonio Mionic; Jacopo Finessi, Vittorio Vigolo, Giacomo Olzer.
Gattuso used the same formation but left players like Lucas Biglia, Gonzalo Higuain and Fabio Borini out of the game. The 40-year-old coach started with Pepe Reina in goal, Ignazio Abate, Mateo Musacchio, Cristian Zapata and Stefan Simić in defense, Andrea Bertolacci, Josè Mauri and Tiémoué Bakayoko in midfield, and Samu Castillejo, Frank Tsadjout and Gabriele Capanni in attack.

As seen from the line-ups, the first team and the Primavera exchanged some players between themselves. The players added to the first team proved crucial in the win of Gattuso’s side as Capanni sent in a good cross in the 25′ minute and Bertolacci entered into the penalty area at the right time to finish it. Three minutes later, a precise pass from Capanni found Tsadjout, who made it 2-0.
Gattuso made no changes in the second half, while Lupi brought on Milan’s 3rd choice keeper Antonio Donnarumma, as well as Riccardo Martimbianco, Daniel Culotta, Nicola Torchio, Gabriele Basani, Marco Romano Frigerio, Siaka Haidara, Riccardo Tonin and Alberto Barazzetta.

Castillejo hit the post once in the first half (after two minutes of play) and then again at the start of the second half, but ultimately failed to score. Lupi’s boys’ best chance, as reported by acmilan.com, arrived in the 61′ minute when Tonin got past Reina but saw his shot cleared on the line by Zapata. A minute later, Abate found the back of the net as his shot at the near post beat Donnarumma.
In the 66′ minute, Tsadjout, who usually trains with the first team but plays for the Primavera, got his second goal. 4-0 was the final result. Milan will now rest for 2 days before resuming training.
Monto even play only for primavera.
Sorry to know that. Something wrong, but will not publish
Seems related to attitude or behavior.
I wonder why as well..no matter how declined he has now, he is still better as Biglia’s backup that other midfielders in the team.
Frank Tsadjout interesting prospect ? Possible third striker ?
With Paqueta, there are at least 3 lefties in Milan squad : Suso, Samu and Paquito-mio.
ricardo rodriguez, bertolacci, romagnoli, laxalt? ???
The picture above gives me the idea that Bakayoko is trying to dribble past his man. Someone needs to make him understand that he is big and strong, not small and skilful.
Is there anywhere that has detailed info about the primavera team, weekly updates and the matches they play?
Yes
Illuminating
Abate’s goal thooo
Anyone know how legit capanni is and if he is good enough to have a future with the first team?
I got see see him a couple of times when milan streamed primavera matches on facebook and he really stood out to me.
He played awsome in this friendly game
