Mateo Musacchio is wanted by Fulham and the English club has apparently sent Milan an official bid for him.

Musacchio only joined Milan last summer but due to the expected arrival of Leonardo Bonucci from Juve, and the decision to ditch the 3-man defense system, the ex-Villarreal made didn’t find the space he was hoping to find.

Milan, at the moment, are focusing on selling players, and after Gustavo Gomez (who has already passed his Boca Juniors medical), Musacchio can also be on the way out.

Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio, Fulham, who have been promoted to the Premier League, have made an offer for the 27-year-old center back and right now the Rossoneri are evaluating whether to accept it or not. Fulham’s offer is concrete and it’s to take Musacchio on a permanent basis.

Should Milan sell Musacchio in addition to Gomez, it’s possible that they’ll be on the market for a center back. In the last days they’ve met with the agent of the 20-year-old Filip Benković.

  1. Man I feel sorry for him, I’m still of an opinion that he could become a stellar next to Romagnoli if not for Bonucci.

He deserves so much more than a bench in Milan

Hope he can restart his career

  2. No to musachio transfer talk!!!he plays and covered for both bonucci and rogmannoli when they are injured and he’s reliable!!!I believe gattuso won’t wanna sell him, musachio can cover so many defensive wings

  3. Unfortunately a quality player like Mussachio can’t be rotting on the bench. As a Milan fan I would wish he stays but the lad deserves to play and at the right price, Milan should let him go and continue his career elsewhere.

  4. Another macreto heartbreak…… Musacchio is a quality player just like Thiago Silva, Very calm with good positioning and can cover 3 phase in the back line . the coach need to trust him and give him more playing time …. After the sales of Gomez if at all we are to reduce the squad as it seems we will only be playing in Seria A next season , i think Zapata is the right player to leave .. We can continue decreasing the quality of our team with other top 5 Clubs in Italy upgrading and strengthening their team with top quality players .. How will u consider selling a 27yrs old experienced player with international experience to buy understudy 20yrs Benkovic which i am such we have same age and of his quality in our youth team .. i think Milan dont have trust in their youth project .. If we need to sell for money to balance the book.. Then sell Bertolaci, Niang, Zapata, Montolivi, Borini, Kalini, Bacca, Biglia, Mauri since the management and Couch never think of him to play… we have Zanolati in the youth team, Oduamadi, Simic, Etc that can be promoted than spending on other clubs young players neglecting ours
