Alessio Romagnoli was disappointed with how Milan conceded twice against Arsenal (‘we threw away the first leg’) but is ready to fight back in London.
Milan’s 13-match unbeaten run and 6-match clean sheet run both came to an end last night at Stadio San Siro, as Arsenal beat them 2-0 in the first leg of the Europa League Round of 16.
The Rossoneri had a poor showing, especially in the first half, and allowed Mkhitaryan (15′) and Aaron Ramsey (45+4′) to score past Gigio Donnarumma.
“Some incidents proved costly, but we had started quite well,” Romagnoli told Sky Italia after the final whistle of referee Clément Turpin. “We conceded two silly goals and threw away the first leg.
“We’ll give it our best in the second leg, as we’ve got nothing to lose. We gave our all but made costly mistakes on the two goals. It’s difficult, but we’ll have to try in London.”
Very bad performance. I don’t normally blame players but I blame Biglia for the first goal. Him and Kessie played like amateurs, Montolivo and Locatelli would have done much better.

And towards some people – not all, but the few who were bitching and moaning about how we would always lose against Arsenal – I have to say — what is it with that loser mentality people?
