Milan are interested in signing Reina and are ready to officially tell Napoli of that in the next few days, it’s reported.
Mino Raiola has been running his mouth the past few days saying that his client Gianluigi Donnarumma should be moving to another club in the summer.
But regardless of what Gigio decides to do in the mercato, it seems that Massimiliano Mirabelli and Marco Fassone have set their sights on Napoli’s Pepe Reina.
The 35-year-old Spaniard, who previously played for Liverpool, will become a free agent in the summer and is unlikely to pen a new deal with the Partenopei, who are fighting for the Scudetto with Juventus this season.
According to Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio, in the next few days Milan will officially inform Napoli on their intention to negotiate with Reina. The Rossoneri already did the same with Sampdoria, letting them know that they are in talks to sign left-back Ivan Strinić, who will be a free agent too.
As written by Di Marzio, informing the club is a formal, but essential step, in closing the deal. It is said that Milan are offering Reina a two-year deal with an option for a third year.

He is very good, but unfortunately the team is performing very bad, it is the last in serie B. He is the starter Gk of Ternana and played pretty well. His value raised up to 1 mil . It will be a very good Gk of AC Milan. But with Storari retiring, we will need a second good option after Donnarumma and Reina is a very good option !
If plizzari is as good as donna like they say. They can sell two donnarummas(for the right offers). Plizzari,raina,storari or gebrial or guarnone as our keepers.

It’s a smart idea as he can still give a lot for at least 2 years. Getting the Sampdoria goalie alongside him would be perfect and Riola can give us the right price for Donna “If” Donna wants to leave, especially if we don’t qualify for CL.

You dont always get what you want without money, you can only make “smart” choices that gets you going till you stabilise.
We all want Donna be replaced by another great shot stopper of course but where is the money?.
The club financial situation shouldn’t be too hard for all to see. Vivian is 32 and would be an ideal short fix for next 3 years while Milan fixing their finances.
It Is reality time for us all to put our emotional sentiments aside and make judgements based on reality of our current situation.
Has the project been abandoned? How old is Reina? We can’t repeat the old mistakes. Keep Donnarumma at all cost or get a young, vibrant goalkeeper who is willing to make history with the team. Signing a Sampdoria benchwarmer at no cost is repeating same old mistakes that have sent us sleeping for a decade

If its as a second keeper and for competition for Donna to spur him on and to learn from, then fine. As a first choice keeper, no.
Ya I agree, Donna needs proper competition which he’s never going to get from anyone currently on our roster and Reina is a good keeper but I’ve a feeling Reina has another 2/3 years at the top and given he’d easily get a club to install him as #1 I’m seriously doubting he’s coming to be #2

True, but nowadays, it’s more and more common to rotate keepers, one for the cups and one for the league, even though I dont think Donna would like to sit out on UCL games if we were to qualify for it, so Reina would only be the keeper in the Coppa. if we get around 100 million euro by selling Donna, then sell him coz with extra fund we can buy 3/4 utility player for backup, we r in need of 3/4 player in midfield n forward line to avoid fatigue crisis…. we should also sell Silva coz he has no quality of adaptation n next summer he can be sold at a good price n bring a striker like Falkao / Iago aspas…. exchange of Silva for Falkao with Monaco would be a great win…….

Jokes aside, I think these players are just to add more depth to the team. Don’t forget that some other benchwarmers (likely) will leave in the summer. Players like G. Gomez, Zapata… maybe Musacchio wants to leave already?

So they might be careful about their spending- this might change though depending on how they will end the season.

As talented the guy (Donna) is, I believe he doesn’t have any future at Milan. Mira/Fassone are in war with his agent and actually I like that from him. He (the agent) is full of crap and somebody should teach him a lesson. Great goalkeepers are also easy to find. By getting Reina we will be ok, at least for two years. With our current financial situation selling Donna + Silva would be a proper sacrifice. With Reina, The bigger Donna & Plizzari we would be ok. I also should say that Plizzari is really impressive (everytime he plays).

Actually you are wrong. R.M has a great goalkeeper. The problem 4 them is that he is no showman. Also we had great goalkeeper and sold him easily. Lopez is shining in spain.

Out of serie A: I can point to nearly 20 goalkeepers that are young and we can get them for half of the donna’s price. Donna is good but he is not that great that media tells us.

Strinic as backup is ok, because no starter ( good enough and young ) will come to us to stay on the bench, but Strinic is ok to rotate with RR, he is not prone injury like Antonelli, he’s good in defence and contributed with 2 assists this season at Sampd ! If we alredy chase free players they should go for Oguzhan ozaykup from Besictas and Jonathan Bamba from Saint Ethien 21 year old can play as left right wing and its decent, i dont see reason for geting Marcano and KI, AL;REDY HAVE A LOT DC AND DMC
