Niccolò Zanellato has left Milan, but the Rossoneri reportedly have secured themselves 50% of a future re-sale.
The Rossoneri Youth Sector product made his Milan debut in August in the Europa League qualification match against KF Shkëndija but couldn’t find too much space under Montella and Rino Gattuso.
Therefore, Milan and Zanellato have chosen to part ways, and the 19-year-old has left the club to join Crotone.
“Crotone announces that it has bought from Milan, on loan with obligation to buy, the rights to the sporting services of the player Niccolò Zanellato,” a statement on Crotone’s website reads. According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky, the agreed fee for the Italy U20 midfielder is €300,000.
It is believed that a buy-back clause wasn’t inserted in Zanellato’s contract, but Milan, according to Sky, will be entitled to 50% of a future re-sale of Zanellato, who’ll look to kick-off his career.
Well done you shitty shinter people. Will we ever have a good management?
Never thought of dry loaning or just keeping him as backup for Kessie seeing as Mauri is out of favour?
Morons.
i prefer buy back options…
Wise movement ! He’s not good enough for Milan ! We have El Hilali, Pobega and Brescianini at Primavera at the same level with Zanellato, we have also Mauri who is better than Zanellato. Not every young player is good enough to be in the first squad, they have to be tested and to prove that they deserved to be in the first squad ! I wasn’t impressed about Zanellato in the 2 games in which he played ! We have a lot of young players in the first squad so we have to choose the best ones ! We… Read more »
I esteem way more Gattuso, but he gave the first chance only to Forte yet. Montella gave the real chance to Zanellato, Locatelli, Cutrone. And Mihajlovic gave the real chance to Calabria, Donnarumma, and brough Romagnoli as a youngster (also promoted Rodrigo Ely in some matches). Gattuso didn’t have the time and the summer trainings to bring up young players. Maybe he will use Gabbia next season, and bring up 2 other Primavera players. And i feel that right how he gives the chances to Calabria, Locatelli and Cutrone to imrpove themselves (Donnarumma doesn’t need it, he is the 1st… Read more »
