Andre Silva may not be 100% to play from the first minute so Patrick Cutrone seems likely to get another chance tonight (20:45 CET kickoff).

It was widely expected that the Portuguese will play from the get go against Craiova in the second leg of the UEFA Europa League third stage qualification stage, but Silva seems to have picked up a slight injury which puts his presence in the starting XI in doubt.

According to Sky and, the ex-Porto striker has a problem in his foot, and so Vincenzo Montella is expected to start Patrick Cutrone, with Suso and M’Baye Niang playing alongside him. Cutrone has been impressive in pre-season and tonight would be his first start at San Siro, where over 62k fans (and tickets are still on sale) will cheer for the Rossoneri.

La Gazzetta dello Sport is less decisive than Sky and, and writes that there is still a chance that Andre Silva will start, even though Cutrone is favourite. Meanwhile, in defense with Ignazio Abate and Luca Antonelli left out of the squad (apparently for technical reasons), Andrea Conti and Ricardo Rodriguez will get their first match together on the flanks of Milan.

AC Milan (4-3-3) – Vincenzo Montella (Probable)
Gianluigi Donnarumma; Andrea Conti, Cristian Zapata, Mateo Musacchio, Ricardo Rodriguez; Franck Kessié, Manuel Locatelli, Giacomo Bonaventura; Suso, Patrick Cutrone, M’Baye Niang.

CS Universitatea Craiova (5-4-1) – Devis Mangia (Probable)
Nicolae Calancea; Radoslav Dimitrov, Hrvoje Spahija, Renato Kelić, Marius Briceag, Nicușor Bancu; Gustavo, Fausto Rossi, Hristo Zlatinski, Alexandru Mitriță; Alexandru Băluță.

Referee: Nikola Popov (BUL).

y won’t Milan buy this baluta, the guy is so good that I wish he is ours to keep

Oh please… Everybody wants to impress against Milan, buy him and see Borini 2.0

Remember when we played Bate Borisov, opened negotiations for their star striker at half time and had bought a brand new flop by the end of the match?

lol borini 2.0..well said, and indeed, there are many footballers around, everyone cant be bought.

Cutrone all the best, Milan all the best. Wish you guys win big tonight

Milan give us the win

good luck, show us what you got!

Well its sad news for Silva but I am very happy for Cutrone. I have great admiration for the kid and all our youngsters in the senior team who are so talented. It’s once in a life time opportunity to have so many good academy products. I expect Donna, Calabria, Loca and Cutrone to be regulars and pillars of Milan in the future. And should Cutrone rise to the standard that I believe he can reach, he would undoubtedly be the best CF in the world. I just hope he scores tonight. If he does, it would change everything just… Read more »

It is starting to be nice tradition to get one break-trough primera player every season. I hope Cutrone turns out great. Altough I really hoped to see Silva.

all the best forza milano

#1Milan Fan South Africa

I want nothing less than a 4-0 score.

Forza Milan.

2-0 craiova and montella sacked is dream scenario

Was looking forward to see Silva, but it would also be nice to see our own boy Cutro in our first european game back at home in a San Siro packed with 60 k! Hope he will be on the score sheet. All the best tonight boys!

Comment: I think the line up has no excuse with winning this game, but I so expecting the gameplay of LOCATELLI AND CUTRONE.
the funny part of it is that our oppenent will have a 5man defense.
Admin please, let go

Comment:I think so

Anticipating a good team telepathy and goals

Man I am feeling giddy with excitement.
60k crowd will be awesome, wish I could be there.
Hopefully tonight we will get a LocaTrone show.
Forza L a z i o

541 formation says it all.
Craiova are coming to park the bus, and hit on the counter.

We should dominate from the word go and score at least 3.

Packed San siro would add to the frenzy.

Good luck milan, get the job done.

Pls I need live streamming link of this match pls

And yeah get well soon Silva.

Hope to see you start against cotrone,
While let cutrone enjoy his big moment tonight at our home San siro.

Hope to see Jose Mauri contributes positively this season. All the best for Milan.

Off topic, who is Bulata n what club does he play for?

No such player exist… i think he is reffereing to belloti over here…

Bulata is Craiova striker…. you will see him in action today

Baluta, not bulata.

zahid hossain

Hakan n Suso should play behind Silva/Cutrone…. giving .Conti n RR the overlapping opportunities….. this tactic will create more chances n Milan defence will not be vulnarable on counter attack…….Go ahead Milan

Because Hakan and Suso tracks back relentlessly?

Which channel can I watch the Match?

our Opponent are adopting a 3-5-1 formation , i think that is a very serious clue for our coach to understand that our opponent are planing to hit us on a counter attack. So we also need to be aggressive in attack and strategic at defense.

FORZA MILAN. from Nigeria

Why should Milan sell Crociata instead of a loan. The guy is very good and has a great potential of becoming one of the best footballers of his generation

5-4-1 is a bus and hope Montella prepares the crusher. All the best Milan.

How many blog’s reader here that will watch the match directly in San Siro tonight?
Forza Milan

Suracho is law

So as I was saying , our chinese owners are very poor. Bonucci and biglia are going to return back to their previous clubs. You never believe me until the waters comes to your nose lebel and just in few days it will drown you. Bank rejected milan guarantees. I already warned you all about elliot funds and how will it destroy our milan. I feel sad but I also pity our milan fans who do not trust me at all. Chinese have made a mockery out of our milan and they should sell this club to good and sensiblemowners… Read more »

Milan10 claimed that bonucci AND biglia deals may fall through because the bank wont provide the transfer funds needed and give guarantee to serie a so that those players can be registered before august 11th.
Damn, if its true than its pretty goddamn embarrassing

5-4-1 formation is an invitation for Milan to dominate the ball. It would be better for our coach Montella to at least have Cahlanoglu as the Mezzala instead of Jack whom must occupy the LW/RW.

The opponent will park the bus thus we will need at least a CM who can pass the ball well and we know Jack can’t.

If you can’t catch any milan games live. Try: Match highlight . Com (all one word, I’m assuming it wouldn’t post because I had posted a link!) They do not post the score line (so it’s not spoiled) and they upload the matches usually within a couple hours of the end of the game. It could be sooner or later. Since I got my new job a few months ago I will not be able to watch any matches live during the week. I have used this website to watch full matches on my PC, my iPhone, and even the… Read more »

The news from the banks are extremely worrying. Both short-term with 2 of the best signings being in jeopardy and long-term about the club’s sustainability. It’s so sad. To be honest, deep down most of us have smaller or bigger doubts.

this was the mai worry..having chinese owners..not just one..and nobody new where the money came from..
now we face the problem..lets see what they will do..maybe a magic money printing donkey

i believe montella must have felt like in fifa manager. for me the whole transfer window untiln now was so surreal. and maybe it is a gift from the universe.. that bonucci and biglica could not be includet untill now. we could see… bad close to bad is too bad (paletta – zapata) bad close to good is good to improove ( musaccio – zapata) also some players i believe are been realy not treatet good. look at mauri the guy is young and everytime he is given a chance, he shows always a good perfomance and maybe we do… Read more »
