Diego Costa is emerging as Milan’s top priority for the attack and his agent is at work to convince him to forget Atletico Madrid and join the Rossoneri.
Milan are looking for a top striker and with Andrea Belotti staying at Torino and Borussia Dortmund being reluctant to consider a Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang exit, it seems that CEO Marco Fassone and DS Massimiliano Mirabelli have turned their eyes to Diego Costa.
Fassone and Mirabelli had a meeting with Jorge Mendes in Sardinia last week where they discussed the possibility of Costa. It was reported then that Diego would be unlikely as he has his heart set on joining Atletico Madrid in January, when their transfer-ban expires.
But things could now change and according to Sky Italia, the club – together with Mendes, who represents the 28-year-old Spaniard – is working to convince Costa is accept the offer of Milan. It’s reported that the Diavolo have no interest in signing Costa on loan and want a permanent deal.
Sky believes that if Costa agrees to join Milan then reaching an agreement with Chelsea would not be a problem as they’ve already accepted the fact that the striker is leaving, and have signed Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid to lead their attack for the upcoming season.
Auba still remains an option and the big dream of Milan, but Costa – at the moment – is the leading candidate. There is always Nikola Kalinić in the background, but there have been no new updates.

According to the Daily Express, Costa has rejected Milan because he wants to move back to Atl. Madrid. I’d like Costa at Milan, but obviously not if he is that eager for Madrid. I don’t know what the next move is for Milan, if any. This transfer window has been great – we shall see what happens.
Dnt sell bacca…. Costa is nt good for milan
