Alessandro Plizzari will play in Serie B next season and is also expected to renew his contract soon.
With Gianluigi Donnarumma close to signing his renewal and his brother Antonio joining the squad, Milan today met with Ternana to agree on 17-year-old Alessandro Plizzari, and the Serie B side confirmed the signing of the boy.
“Ternana announces that it has acquired the sporting performance of the goalkeeper Plizzari, class of 2000. The player comes from Milan with a loan formula until June 30, 2018,” a statement reads this evening on the site of Ternana, who finished last year in 18th place.
This move will allow Plizzari to get valuable playing time and experience in the second-best league in Italy. The player is also expected to extend his contract with Milan until 2020 in the coming days.
Good move for him, it would be better if it was Serie A, but the main thing is that he will get important experience. All the best of luck Plizz, bentornato! Waiting for you to come back stronger!
That guy is a die hard Milan fan, and is so underrated! Come back stronger Plizzari!
He is underrated?
I thought the whole Milan fanbase were so confident that he can be far better replacement for Donnarumma already this season if Donna left. Remember all the (not) peaceful and (yes) hilarious comments here?
How is that underrated?
Please do well plizzari. We are counting on you for 2018/19 as donnaruma will be sold for a 100M. Good luck and do your best.
are you seriously a 2yo?
Alessandro plizzari, go, learn and come back with experience.Best of luck!
Go out and get better when Storari is sold or released next season you will be back with us Forza Milan
Sending him out on loan means that Milan would buy another goalie.
My concern is why serie b. I would have preferred a more competitive league with a lot of pressure for speedy development. Serie b…. I don’t know
Nope.
Donna, Storari, Donna.
Enough.
It’s fine. He’s still young for Serie A or anything like that.
Now this is a good loan deal for a young keeper. Not like the last one we remember from the Guru. Sending a young keeper to warm the bench at Napoli while Reina is there…? Smh
It’s actually good that he will go to Ternana, they sucked last season so he will have lots of work to do and will be good learning experience for him. He is only 17 after all.
Yup. And serie b would be the proper place to grow and test him out, away from the pressure and spotlight of serie a.
Nah… Thats the point. He will learn with much shoots go through his net :)
Best of luck on ur journey plizzari. Hope u’ll be much better in terms of skills and mentality when u come back. Now a shy giggling teenager in interviews, next year a strong and commanding presence who screams at defenders who screw up, like all best gk
Oh, how I miss Kahn’s face screaming at defenders…
I am betting on you plizarri, to be our no 1 in future.
Can’t forget or forgive donnadrama ever.
Come back stronger.
Good that he gets match practice. But Can This Antonio play at all? 21 games for some obscure greek side during two seasons. I am a bit cpncerned that Gigi is our only reliable keeper for a season which easily contains 55 competitive games. If he gets injured we are in trouble but even if he isnt we should have a solid keeper for EL and coppa games. It is too much with 50-60 games for Gigi (18). Maybe Adler for free would be good support. Then Plizz and Adler next year if/when Gigi is sold.
I pray your dream come true you are a Milanist to the call weldon lad
I really look forward to see him in action in Serie B. It will be his first season playing with the big boys and I hope he plays many games and maybe even wins promotion to Serie A. Develop well buddy.
Who needs a sub goalkeeper when there are the donna rumma brothers?
