Simon Kjaer is linked with Milan and a move could take place once one of the center backs in the current squad leave.
Gabriel Paletta is expected to complete a move to Torino in the coming days, and so Milan are looking for reinforcements at the back to have some depth.
According to Sky’s Gianluca Di Marzio, the Diavolo have ‘reserved’ Fenerbahçe center back Simon Kjaer, 28, and the ex-Palemro and Roma man could arrive as soon as another defender (presumably Paletta, or maybe Cristian Zapata or Rodrigo Ely, who is wanted by newly-promoted side Benevento Calcio) leave the club this summer.
Very few details are known at this point. Meanwhile, it was reported by Sky earlier this week that Milan had refused a €10m bid from Besiktas for 23-year-old Paraguayan center back Gustavo Gomez.

Keeping paletta instead of zapata is common sense but paletta has habit of avoiding competition for starting line up spot. Remember how he asked to leave after romagnoli arrived? Let paletta leave but for gods sake dont let him leave for free. Ask for serious money or use him as bargaining tool.
Regarding kjaer, he would be fantastic signing if milan could get him for 15m or less. What about those koscielny rumours though. He is older than kjaer but i think he would be even better signing

Well, Simon is a fellow Dane, so I suppose that’s nice. One thing about all the defenders we have signed so far is that they are all good passers. If memory serves me well, and it has been years since I saw him in action, Kjær is not a good passer out of the back. If I am wrong about this, feel free to correct me – obviously

Dear God no, please dont make this happen. Kjær is even worse than Zapata, believe me. Zapata is clumsy, yes I agree. But he doesnt have a bad temper, Kjær has both. Why do you think he is in Turkey?, he played awful last time he was in Serie A. We should learn from the past.

Sell Paletta he got 5 red cards and like 13 yellow ones last season. He costed us a lot of games . Sell zapata and keep Rodrigo Elly. He is a youngester and we need the young blood. Good job not selling Gomez he is good and strong defender.
