Luca Vido is expected to go to Atalanta in a deal that is not directly related to Andrea Conti, while Chievo have shown interest in Patrick Cutrone.
Milan are very busy in the transfer window, having already signed Mateo Musacchio, Franck Kessié, Ricardo Rodriguez & André Silva, and they continue to work on bringing new players.
But with so many new faces coming in, some are bound to leave. According to Sky Italia, U20 Italy striker Luca Vido, who played the last season on loan at Cittadella, is close to moving to Atalanta.
Sky reports that it would be a permanent deal but similar to the agreement Milan found with the Bergamo club when they sold Andrea Petagna, the Rossoneri would be owned a certain percentage from a future sale of Vido. The negotiation is not directly related to the Andrea Conti talks between the clubs, who also discussed the situation of the 19-year-old Milan-owned midfielder Gian Filippo Felicioli (played on loan at Ascoli last season).
It’s also said by Sky that Chievo Verona have shown interest in signing the striker Patrick Cutrone, who made his debut against Bologna at San Siro on Matchday 37. The formula is not yet known.

There should be a buy back option just like Real madrid added when they sold Morata to Juve. Otherwise, it is not correct youth policy.
Agreed
Sad… milan can destroy because to much non italian player.
Very sad…Dis fassobelli will soon turn Milan to shinter…Made up of only foreign mercenaries…Milan has always been Italian spiced with d best from other countries..The core remains Italian..And Milan don’t just buy internationals, Milan buys d best, Ronaldo, ronadinho, rui costa, seedorf, gullit, vanbasten, jaapstam, sheva, kaka, dey all played amidst a solid Italian core…Let someone explain dis to Fassobelli…Forza milan
“foreign mercenaries”
Just like Donnarumma right? yea right…
There has to be a buy back option, otherwise it sucks big time.
Yes buy buy clause inserted hope they blossom in anywhere they meet themselve Forza Milan
I LOVE THE IDEA, BUY BACK OPTION IF HE TURNS OUT GOOD, 50% OF NEXT SALE IF HE SUCKS & DEY SELL HIM. THE BIGGEST TRANSFER NEWS OF THE SEASON WOULD BE THE SALE OF ZAPATA
Rodrigo Amarral, Milan must now focus on young South American talent which is way cheaper. This midfield gem is something else, ask Italy u/20
Stop selling our young players. Loan them to smaller clubs
Lol Chinese destroying our youth academy. who is next cutrone?
Yeah maybe… How about you keep your words until they actually do that? Huh?
Jeez man. Destroying our youth academy? our youth players have been going in and out of our academy for 50 years. We have always been a spending club. We have had italian dna but most of them where bought out of berlusconis pocket and not home grown.
These kids could turn out great in future especially Vido whom i’ve seen couple of times, Fasobelli must be smart with these deals.
Vido okay for sale, cutrone? Definitely NO…
Sell Zapata? Yes, Chievo Verona need a bus driver….
So I’ve read that Jorge Mendes is trying to get James Rodriguez to Milan. Honestly I hope we could loan him with option to buy or smth for 60-70 million. Yes, might be high but I honestly think that James could fit in our team so well as the creative sparkle we’ve been missing for a few years now.
What do you guys think?
Forza Milan!
(I know this doesn’t have anything to do with Vido or Cutrone)
Its highly unlikely, unless we offer 70m..
I think he will sign for chelsea or man utd along with morata
another aubameyang / darmian / petagna case…
Good shintery work from former shinter ds.
I wonder if they will start to have wet dreams about Vido in case he blasts into Atalanta side, and splash 30mil on him to get him back.
Good luck Vido, and even more sadly, Cutrone.
You’re boring already. Wait and see before you talk.
Why so salty mr ink? Youth players need regular playing time, consistantly over years for them to develop. Vido wont get it in our squad and the inconsistant loan moves we have been doing dont do them any good. We simply do not have the time to do so. We will be in deep shit if we dont qualify for CL next season. as ffp will suspend us if we dont make it. which will result in we selling players to balance the books. And then we might lose even better youth players such as dona etc. They are doing… Read more »
Talent ?what happened to Hachim Mastour ?Hope we get to see more youngsters break through
ILoveAcMilan
We must leave us a buy-back options for every our prospects, who are leaving our organization!
I think we have to remember that in a “proper” AC Milan only very few homegrown players will reach the senior squad. Unless he’s recognized as one of the talents in the world (or at least seria a), I would’nt be too worried about letting him go with no buyback clause.
Vido, nothing special there, atleast not yet. Dont mind if we sell him. Crotone wont play for us for atleast two years. Sell him with a buy back option of around 10 mill. If he is a success after he turns 21 ish, then simply ship him back. We wont use him, thats for sure.
Better he finds a place where he can play consistantly. Then rot on milan bench and loaned out then eventually sold on bosman(galliani style) because of no real development.
It is a good idea to sell those players. Vido cannot make it in the big team, so it’s useless to keep him for nothing. Same goes for Felicioli and Pessina. The ones that’s required to stay are Cutrone and Zanellato. The rest can leave. It’s not bussiness if we keep them until 24, when they’ll leave anyway since they don’t confirm. I’m not bothered by the fact that Petagna left, to be honest. He is a better player now, but still not worth Milan.
