Mateo Musacchio’s arrival is confirmed as he’s in Italy and has already underwent the medical at La Madonnina clinic.

The first purchase in the Chinese era at Milan is Mateo Musacchio as the Argentine center back arrived to Milano last night and this morning he was at the La Madonnina clinic for his medical.

As reported by Sky, tomorrow the 26-year-old will go to Milanello for the first time and have the second part of his check-up, and then he will sign the contract with the red and black club.

Musacchio is joining Milan in a deal that is believed to be worth around €18 million (including bonuses). The Rossoneri tried to sign him last summer but the delays in the ‘closing’ postponed the deal to this year, and Massimiliano Mirabelli & Marco Fassone found an agreement with Villarreal.

Musacchio, who grew up in River Plate, played for Villarreal’s first team from 2010 to 2017, making over 200 appearances. He will look to help Milan qualify to the Europa League group stage in July.

Next up, Rodriguez and Kessie and possibly Conti as well! ☺

VICEROYMHZ

Comment: Are you sure MSD is leaving? because I think that will be the reason for having Conti.
I hope Kessie is worth both the money and the hype, because i have never seen him play though he looks capable, but looks ain’t it.

Tinker

To be honest with you I don’t know what the hype on kessie is either.
Yes he’s young and yes he has scored a few goals this season but his stats on whoscored.com for example, shows that he doesn’t play well in big games and shines in easy games (which we don’t need to take us to the next level) and also after watching his highlights and how he plays, he isn’t that intelligent nor technically gifted to me, just strong and good at shooting(?)

Milan10

Well, he’s already better than pasalic. Thats for DAMN sure.
Kessie, mauri, kucka. Now thats nice set of CM

Baresis Dream

Wait until he plays a single game for us, or an entire season. He doesn’t look much better than Bertolaci right before he came (different types, but equal hype?)

VICEROYMHZ

Comment: 1 out of 3 rumours confirmed to be true.
Welcome Mateo Mussachio, wishing you an Injury free season (with the highest of 2 weeks if u ll have it).
somebody say Amen!!!
Next!!!! Player please ….
I think with this, either Zapata,Paletta or both will leave except We are not promoting any CB from youth sector nor getting another.
FORZA MILAN

Suracho

#ThankYouBonera

Milan10

No suracho analysis for 2 straight matches dear sir?

Milan10

Musacchio – paletta – romagnoli, with gomez and zapata (believe it or not this clumsy guy can sometimes play well coming on as sub) as back up. Finally, a well built defensive line

Suso817

I rather see Gomez-Musacchio-Romagnoli
next season

Milan10

Yeah, that could work too. Ely, musacchio, roma, paletta and gomez are all 1st team material in my opinion

Milan10

Damn, i forgot ely

Milan 2017

Commentary: Please don’t delete my comment for god sake!! Very good move

#1Milan Fan South Africa

Would like us to sign Ciao.Gustavo Gomez is awesome hope he will be at the back wityh musacchio and Romagnoli.

nick

This is good news and I’m confident Fassone and Maribelli will take Milan back to the top.

No more transfer drama now that Galliani is gone. Thank God. It was so embarrassing with him at Milan.

Farac_milan

Good, we can keep Gomez, Romagnoli and Paletta but Zapata should go. MdS can leave, Rodriguez is better and for the right side i prefer calabria to MdS

Mojdanis

If Galliani was still here he would announce tommorow that Musacchio have serious dental problems and that Barzagli and his beautifull smile will be joining us instead for free

Milan10

Amusing porto reference but barzagli is actually better than musacchio, at least for now.

Mojdanis

yeah maybe may beeee, but again Barzagli born on: 8 May 1981 (age 36). Even if he decides to not retire at all Musacchio should at least outlive him which makes him more valuable for Milan and makes me question your IQ.

Milan10

Hence, “at least for now”.
Ur right though, my iq isnt high enough to come up with “losing on purpose” idea. Could u just confess to ck that it was u mate?

Mojdanis

U are just making you so unpleasant to talk to. This is Rossoneri blog . Which makes us all here., obviously, Milan fans. I have no beef with you. I just reacted because you are clearly sabotaging all of my comments no matter what I say. I am sure that your IQ is fine and there is no reason for us to insult each other. If you want to continue this, ok. But know that I will not reply to your negative comments. Sorry if I offended you somehow and somewhere.

Milan10

I only wrote that barzagli’s currently better than musacchio. Is that an insult to you?

Mojdanis

I am Musacchio, you silly

Milan10

u are good sir? Wow this is awkward. Sorry i said all that sir. Welcome aboard!
Y’know, suracho wrote on other post that ur gay mr musacchio, is that true? Must be fun the shower then

P.s. I take it u wear wigs on the field?

Ck

Hahaha Mojdanis it’s okay. Get used to it. Milan10 suracho and gman are out of this world. They are probably juve or roma fans here to stir shit. Trust me. If not, i can’t explain their dumb comments. He’s the only who heard commentators saying that our new owners wanted Milan to lose games on purpose

Ck

Mojdanis you don’t have to take it to heart. Barzagli isn’t a great player in the first place. He’s way below bonucci and chiellini even during his heydays. Now that he’s way past 30, i don’t know how is he better than musacchio

Mojdanis

@CK I don’t take it to heart. I just agree that Barzagli might be better right now, like this moment from Musacchio. But in 6 months from now that easily will be a different case.

sure I am, why else would I told you about my magnum. Our dear friend Ali is even worried that our relationship doesn’t get to intense. PFFF. Like you couldn’t handle it or something…
P.S. I wear wig everywhere but in bed ;)

Ali

I’m sorry Mojdanis, but imo Milan10 is one of the best and most intelligent commenters around here and you are the one making this conversation an awkward situation. He uses a bit too much sarcasm though.

Milan10

Whoa ali my dear mate, ur too kind. Dont worry though, mojdanis and i are friends. He even told me about length of his, uh..magnum on post about juve match. Its 21 cm if im not mistaken haha

Mojdanis

We are indeed. One of the things that I am sorry is that we didn’t played FIFA. Ali you are such a gentleman. Swooping in and saving the day. I apologised once for the IQ insulting and I will do it again. Me and my humble magnum are trully sorry.

Ali

Holy “magnum”! I hope your friendship doesn’t get too intense… lol

Baresis Dream

Hi guys,

New at the forum; I’ve been reading for quite a while, but just now decided to join the chat – maybe it’s because of Milan’s recent “success”.

Forza Milan!

Milan10

Welcome aboard mate.
“Success”? Dont u mean “suck ass”?

Baresis Dream

Thanks friend.

Well musacchio had his medical, Rodriguez to sign next week, Kessie agreement, and now saying milans top choices up front are Morata aubameyang or belotti and with kalinic alternative. I really like all three I just hope we don’t end up with kalinic.. Also showing that if we don’t get keita that we will look to thauvin. Its a huge step in the right direction. We’re getting big players and we can finally be in Europe. Apparently de sciglio has already agreed terms with Juventus.. If this is true get lost cause I have no more respect for u! Get Conti,… Read more »

Pelle80

Wow!!! I just checked gianluca di marzio news in english(very reliable source) fasone and mirabelli on their way to rome for a meeting with lazio chief, lucas biglia and keita, reason for the trip. These guys aint sleeping at all!
Galliani waited until august even when berlusconi gave him 150mn to spend.
Am really impressed so far, finally people are talking and doing!
Forza milan!

Mansa

No, he chased Kondogbia and Martinez all window.

nick

Totally agree sir. Galliani was an embarrassment to Milan. Because of him many clubs, players and agents were disrespecting us. Once Braida and Leonardo left our transfer market has been pure garbage.

sunshinekaka

Comment: I hate betrayers…. Mds is a very stupid player for deciding to leave Milan for Juventus.. I see he feels and thinks juve is better than Milan… I pray for him to be unsuccessful during his spell there though I doubt. Milan should buy Conti by all means if that idiot leaves cos I feel Abate is aging and calabria isn’t ready to to carry the pressure alone. The players I want Milan to buy are Conti, Rodriguez, belotti/morata, Kassie, Modric, and any good winger

Donremie

Keita and belloti…With Rodriguez, kessie n musachio, and one other good MF we shld be ok…Early preparation for next season….Just read day Honda is leaving..Wish him all d best! Forza milan

VICEROYMHZ

Comment:I think with Mussachio,Rodriguez and Conti if purchased will complete our backline.
3Rbs, 3Lbs
Abate Antonelli
Conti Rodriguez
Calabria Vangioni
Cbs
Romagnoli
Mussachio
Gomez
Palleta if staying
Zapata uncertain
Ely if not loaned or sold
Gabbia if promoted

Pray_For_Milan

This is good news. Hey I just hope we will at least sign a creative CM.

If Galliani was still around he was gonna refer to Montolivos return as “New Signing”.

I still wonder why don’t we sign Witsel. Biglia would be good also, followed him since his Anderlacht days just underrated player.

Vic

Welcome Musacchio. Welcome to the family

Jomokau

Based on some analysis, Musacchio is weak in the air. This is worrisome as he’ll be dominated by the likes of Chielini when it comes to corners. Montella probably plans to compensate for this weakness by playing 3 at the back. Romagnoli, Paletta and Gomes are all beasts when it comes to headers.

King James

I read he is good in the air despite being short. He is short but good in air

Gman

Roma is not a beast in the air, lacks agression and bravery

Jomokau

@Gman. I disagree, yes he’s not as aggressive as Paletta but he’s got great technique and timing which allows him to win most headers – his stats at Squawka.com attest to that. I don’t think Sergio Ramos is aggressive in the air but he scores many headers due to his technique.

Gman

Ramos bangs in more goals with his head, than his legs. I agree that timing and technique is important but, Ramos is an aggressive player which benefits him in the air.

VICEROYMHZ

Comment: I have to worries
1: what will our midfield be like (who are those leaving)
2: Will locatelli and Cutrone get to play more games with these new players?
I don’t care if locatelli plays as a register or not, I want him to play to know if he is really good cos he has helped us in impossible matches e. g sassuolo and juventus.
Cutrone too, I do not know anything about him aside him being promoted.
Use our product too not until they get old.
e.g Mbappe,Rashford,Kessie,& Donnamuran

Mello

Nice! I am happy with Musacchio!

Guys which nr will Musacchio be wearing? What do you think?

King James

Romagnoli, Gomez, Ely, Musacchio…. Get rid of the rest…. Promote from thr primereva when we need back in case of injurirles or suspension

imadala

Its good news…but securing donnaruma will be the best news that i wanna hear

Jomokau

I don’t think Donna is going anywhere only problem is his agent who’s squeezing our balls so he can get a hefty commission from any future deal. It boggles my mind why an agent should have so much influence over a player. He did not groom or discover the player, Milan did!!

mercelo

well done guys hapie 2 b here forza Milan.

daniel

Comment: hope Milan keep Carlos bacca cos he has this Europa league experience even if he has to come in as a sub
