Mario Pasalic is happy to finally get his debut with Milan as he played in the 1-0 win over Pescara on Sunday afternoon.
The 21-year-old Croatian was brought on loan from Chelsea, and after talking very positively about him in the pre-match press conference, coach Montella gave Pasalic his debut on Matchday 11, as Mario replaced Niang in the 61′ minute.
“I’m very happy with my debut at San Siro,” he told MilanTV at the end of the match. “It was really emotional to play after a long period of inactivity. I’m waiting for the next game hoping to play more minutes.
“I missed a header? Unfortunately it didn’t go in, it’ll be better in the next games. My condition? I’m fine now, I’m improving every day also from a physical point of view. I feel good and I’m ready to play. We have to keep on working like this without looking at the table [Milan are currently 3rd] and we have to continue winning three points and then we’ll see where we are at the end of the season.
“My role on the pitch? I feel good in any role in midfield but I’m mainly a number 8.” Pasalic hopes to find more space already in the next game when Milan play Palermo away next Sunday afternoon.

He needs more playing time ..he is young and fits our profile
