Mati Fernandez was forced to leave the pitch after just 10 minutes.
Mati arrived on the last moment of deadline on a paid loan with option to be bought next summer for a reported €1m and he has yet to set foot at Milanello.
The 30-year-old will be rejoined with coach Vincenzo Montella tomorrow but will directly go see the Milan doctors after picking up an injury last night.
Mati replaced Rodrigo Millar in the 53′ minute of the match between his side Chile and Bolivia (ended 0-0) but in the 63′ minute he was forced to be subbed out by Felipe Gutiérrez due to an injury. The extent of the hit will be evaluated tomorrow so at the moment Mati is in doubt for the Udinese match on Sunday.
In addition to Fernandez, Carlos Bacca was also in action during the night as he played 71 minutes in Colombia’s 2-1 defeat to Brazil. He’ll be back at Milanello tomorrow and should play from the start on Matchday 3.
