Stefan Simic will look to find more playing time in Belgium while Hachim Mastour returns after virtually not playing at all at Malaga last season during his loan there.
Milan continue to move on the transfer market and yesterday they announced that Stefan Simic, 21, who was promoted to the first team during the last season, has moved to the Belgian league.
“Milan wish to communicate that Simic has been sent to Belgian team Royal Excel Mouscron on loan with the right to buy,” a statement confirmed.
Malaga have meanwhile announced that they’ve decided to send Hachim Mastour back to Milan. The Rossoneri had sent him to La Liga on a two-year loan but the Youtube sensation only featured in five minutes in the entire season and Malaga have no intention of keeping him.
“The Moroccan player, loaned out to Málaga CF in 2015/16, won’t continue his second season on loan and returns to AC Milan,” they wrote in a statement. He’s not expected to remain in the squad.

And apparently the management is already looking to get rid of Mastour again…
Honestly he needs to be loaned out. If he couldn’t get time on the pitch at Malaga he definitely won’t get it here. I have no problem with including the option to purchase as long as there is a buy back option as there was with the Malaga deal.
I’m not against loaning him out. But selling him would be a bad move. We should wait until he’s 22/23 . That’s when you can tell if he’s going to be world class or not.
Also we should loan him to a lower league so that he can play
What is it with milan and buy out clause on loan deal? Regarding mastour, maybe it wasnt a bright idea to loan him to a club competing in la liga, competition with higher quality than serie a. Galli shouldve sent him to club playing in serie b, segunda div or even bottom club of serie a that way he wouldve gotten regular playing time thus improving his overall quality and development. On a positive note, hes still very young, even younger than cr7 was in his breakthrough seasons with sporting lisbon and mu so milanisti and especially milan mgmt shouldnt… Read more »
Mastour needs to be loaned to a serie b club. He really needs playing time. He has great potential dont get me wrong but Football is not just about skills and dribbling.
Sell Mastour for 3m to Seria B team and put buy back clause of 6 mil on him. He will need time to get to a level that we need. And Seria B is better choice for him than any other league, he needs to feel Italian football. Malaga was an awful choice.
Agree 100%
I agree that mastour should leave temporarily to gain experience but why sell him when milan can just loan him? Why spend 3 m on milan’s own player? I dont think thats good move financial wise
Cause we can loan him two year tops to one club and in my opinion 2 years are not enough for him to be at a level we need. If we just keep loaning him to different clubs that is again not that good for him. He is just 18 yrs old and he needs experience in every way, and to pay 3m if he becomes what we expect from him is bargain deal,if he fails we profited 3m. Now every big club do buyback clause rather than loan. Look at Barca for example.
I see. Still, i think 2 year loan is more than enough time for him to develop his skills, physique and mentality. I remember beckham and del piero went through similar path
If milan really sold him to some lowly serie b team and he shone there, what would happen if teams like juve made an offer that serie b team couldnt refuse, like 15 m?
Since we have the buy-out clause, I think we would still have the right to buy him for 3 million, since its in the contract, so the team wouldn’t be able to accept other teams bids, if we were to want to buy him back.
Comment: then we would sign him for 6m.
I see. Seems fair enough trade to me. Now the question is: which team is lowly but loaded eno
I see. Seems fair enough trade to me. Now the question is: which team is lowly but loaded enough to splash 3 m for unproven kid like him
What is the deal with this kid? He played 5 mins for Malaga. If I was a manager I would be honestly very disappointed with myself if I could not harness that kid’s skills. Unless he’s out partying every night or has some serious injury problems there should be no reason why he cannot develop into a top player. Even when he’s played in pre-season friendlies for Milan he’s been excellent. I really hope Montella properly evaluates him, maybe gives him a run out in the primavera with one eye on the senior side. No more loans. We need to… Read more »
Coaches see what fans dont see – players at training… Maybe Mastour is not even trying… Youtube is one thimg and matches are another.. Two different worlds…
Look at Balotelli.. He dreams about winning the golden ball… And he ia kicked out of Liverpools squad.. Talent is only few percentage, hard work and attitude means the most…
Exactly….so did you watch Mastour play for Malaga? or in our preseasons ? or as a youth? Did you watch Mario play for Liverpool?
Or are you forming judgements without having watched them perform based on the opinion of an unsuccessful coach?
*Klopp couldnt have possibly had enough time to judge Mario based on performance, or even attitude and effort.
i have seen him play for 3 matches under inzaghi in our youth level. the only word comes to mind, very very poor. not even good enough for our under 17s. there is also seems to be a hype about junior maldini, who is also mediocore and nothing special. that’s the reality. we like to romanticize and hope the best, but unfortunately 99% of the player will never be top player what has happened to halilovic and martin odegaard, who are both ahead of mastour in terms of team and experience. they are gone. a manager has nothing against truly… Read more »
I get what you’re saying about romanticizing about our youth, Ive noticed that too, however, Ancelotti or maybe it was Zidane,, pretty sure it was Ancelotti, admitted that signing Odegaard was just a publicity stunt, and Halilovic has done quite well for himself and impressed during the past season in his loan move. And it’s not really fair to say that about Locatelli, he comes in in a game against Roma at San Siro, where the team really isnt working, it’s hard to standout, nonetheless as a midfielder who is supposed to dictate the game, but at least he was… Read more »
He was gradually sidelined ever since they knew he was leaning towards playing for Morrocco rather than Italy. The most talented youngster Milan has and he is being thrown to different teams like a nobody, even Bellotti was not treated like that.
True, but if he cant get playing time in “not italy oriented” Malaga why do you think he could get in Milan?
Not agree 100%
The kid was injured the majority of his time at Malaga…. I saw him enter a match twice for them, he only played a few minutes, didnt see much of the ball, but looked comfortable on the pitch…. The misconception about Mastour is that he’s just a fancy dribbler….but from what little ive seen of the kid over the past few years his greatest strength is his tactical vision/passing, which speks well for his future… Hachims only problem right now is simply adding bulk to his frame. If he is sold, we will all regret it in 2-3 years… I… Read more »
Agreed Sir, but loaning him is still a good option. If he stays no problem either.
What a wonderful conclusion to it (@Jarossoneri). Loan to Seria b will b perfect. Best to Gattuso from whom he will get both playing time n needed discipline, if any loopholes as to his attitude off the pitch. I very well favour that option even for 2 or 3 seasons. He will definitely come back well grounded n a better player
Off topic any news on pjaca as zegreb as commence negective to milan, but in all we are too slow in everything while the world is so fast.
I get the feeling that he doesn’t really want to be in Milan.
He chose Morocco and now his friend SES is no longer in the team.
They hyped the kid way too much but I would still keep an eye on him. Maybe he delivers on his potential.
We as ac Milan must keep Mastour in our team, because he is still our best prospect! If we are going to loan him to another team in order to get more playing time we must put some kind of buyback option in that loan deal, because he is really talendet youngster and we must not loose him to other club for nearly nothing, just look at what we have done over the years whit players like Saponara who we lost to Empoli for nearly nothing and he is now the most promising attacking midfielder in Italian league! So Galliani… Read more »
We as ac Milan need new players badly and we must upgrade our team in nearly every position beside that left side of field! We have good platers in left side of the field like Antonelli, Romagnoli, De Siglio, Bonaventura, Niang and the new comer Vangioni! But nearly every other position needs upgrading like our central defense and the options for that place are Rugani, Mustafi, Musacchio and then we need to upgrade our central midfield position and the options are Kovacic, Paredes, Matic and in right midfield position we must sign one of these two players who are Pjaca… Read more »
i pray stone cold (galliani) won’t sign player that will not fit in montella’s tactics cox wen dey sign th wrong players they force the coach to use them that all coaches at milan fail ….so my advice to montella is to wake UP nd make self decision lyk mourinho
We should loan him out too a clubs in Holland like Heerenveen, Groningen or FC Utrecht. It made kick start his career.
Recent news, pjaca is going to juve. Already worried about this could happen to us. As long as galliani in our management, we will end up with matri pavoletti etc. Old player or mediocre player lol.
Havent seen that anywhere. Relax.
So, milan is close to selling bacca to west ham after just finding replacement in the form of serie b topscorer lapadula. All the while every single target from usual suspects like ibra, ben arfa to young prospects like mammana and pjaca has already gone to or close to sign with another clubs. Montella? Hes busy trying to sign (just above average) players he worked with at fiorentina (the ex-next figo, joaquin anyone?). Judging by how things are going, i wouldnt be surprised if milan signed totti and cassano. After all, They both have worked with montella before
Honestly i wouldnt be super bummed if Bacca leaves and we get a healthy sum of at least 30 million. Adriano is no stranger to goals, even though Bacca obviously is more lethal, but if Montella gets a couple of quality signings along with his fluent possession based football, i’m positive Adriano can rack up the goals. And Montella seems to really believe in Niang, maybe he will play as CF. The main thing, is us getting quality signings, one centre back, one attacking mid/winger and one/two quality midfielders.
Havent u seen enough of niang’s “finishing”? Hes not a goalgetter by a long shot.
Theres a reason why russian only valued l adriano at 8 m
Lapadula could be milan’s new target man but from van basten to lapadula?
Trying to get decent mf while offloading ur best cf is like picking shiny new leather jacket while taking off ur pants.
adriano was in the last year of his contract…
who knws ..what if lapadula can be our new van basten
the mighty van basten ended his carier at 30..
we dont knw what is comng next…
Yes yes lapadula can be our van basten. L adriano can be our romario. Matri can be our baggio. Buddha, jesus and muhammad can be our backline trio too
I have said it before and say it again, Montela is an average coach with an average mentality. As a top coach, when you are giving a shot at a top club like Milan, with a war chest of 100m Euros for transfer, you will have to chase top players so that if the club fails to get the best for you, there will be an excuse for your failure. Take a look at the kind of players Mourinho, Emeri, Alegri, and Pep Gardiola are chasing. We will surely end up with mid table kind of players. Welcome to the… Read more »
I think you guys should relax. Nothing has happened yet. When i see players like joaquin mati Fernandez etc being linked, i get freaked out. But it seems like right now, if we wont sign Pjaca, even though we are still in the running, cuadrado is the alternative, not a vad alternative at all. Actually its a great one, but personally i think i’d prefer Pjaca. Most important is us getting Musacchio, from what i’ve heard, he’s injury prone, but his potential is huge so its worth “the risk”. And then 1-2 midfield signings – that will actually improve and… Read more »
Don’t get something wrong….. The said 100m for transfer will only be made available after signing the preliminary contract with the Chinese next week thereafter, Finivest will provide the initial 100m for the transfer before the Chinese consortium finally closes the deal in September and then they can reimburse Finivest the 100m. That is why a penalty fine of 100m will be impose on whoever decides to disagree after signing the preliminary agreement (between 12th to 15th July) So, Galliani practically has no money to spend now and all he’s doing is… Making his moves pending arrival of the funds… Read more »
Sounds fair, hopefully the players and/or clubs will be able to wait.
Yes we all know that. galli doesnt have to be silent now and then spend it all in 1-2 weeks in a hurry when 100 m is in his hand. Just seize current targeted players using little money he has now, maybe even make agreements with the other clubs that milan will pay them once take over is complete and there will be penalty should milan fail to pay, so galli wont have to spend a nickel now. the most important thing is closing the deal, black ink on white papers. There are many ways doing business. U cant tell… Read more »
Lapadula was bought by Berlusconi and without the consent of the Chinese (contrary to some reports). Football deal isnt as easy as you put it when you dont have the physical cash available because some other clubs have the cash and advantage e.g Juve have the cash ready and are also playing CL. Its not easy for Galliani to win this battle against Juve and thats why he flew here to physically confirm Milan’s interest. Finivest wont give out any money until deal is signed and even Berlusconi wont because Lapadula purchase almost caused misunderstanding with the Chinese. Every decision… Read more »
Right, so milan take montella and lapadula in and sell bacca without chinese consortium’s consent. Either both parties are dumb or they just cant keep their own words to claim they have 100 m to spend and to randomly target players without even having the funds yet.
I dont think pjaca saga is a matter of money only. Even if it is, milan can use money they get from west ham
Montella was with the chinese consent. And you’re right about using the Bacca money on signings, i read that Di Marzio said that thats what we’re waiting for. The bacca money so we can sign Musacchio, and then once the contract is signed we will probably be more active… I also read that we’re very close to Zielinski.
Yes i know that mate. Im just being sarcastic. No way the chinese didnt give their consent for both their transfers
Reason why i love Arsene Wenger he never underates all of his youngsters, take the Nigerian Iwobi as an example.
a word about these so called “missed signings” we have failed to take: kongdogbia was a flop, Felipe anderson was touted as the next Kaka,,guess what? he’s not, Neither is Oscar or Lucas Moura of PSG. We have missed several players along the road and hindsight shows to me they were never the Shevchenko or prilo we were looking for. if Pjaca chooses Juve, so be it. i will not loose sleep over it at all. dzeko was to have come to us shortly after he lit up the Bundesliga, but went to Man City instead, Guess he will win… Read more »
