Stephan El Shaarawy has completed his move to Roma, who will pay the Rossoneri €1.4m for the loan.

Monaco decided not to take-up their buy-out option on El Shaarawy and since the Rossoneri already have too many attackers in their squad, they’ve chosen to send him elsewhere and last night the move to Roma became official.

“AS Roma are delighted to announce the signing of Stephan El Shaarawy from AC Milan,” a statement on Roma’s website reads. “The Italian forward joins on a loan deal until 30 June 2016, for a fee of €1.4 million.

“The agreement includes an option to make the deal permanent, for a fee of €13 million, before the beginning of the 2016-17 season. The 23-year-old Italian international signed his contract with the Giallorossi having successfully passed his medical in Rome.” Milan also confirmed the agreement.

El Shaarawy will look to relaunch himself in the colours of Roma and recapture the form he had in the 2012/13 season in which he finished as Milan’s top scorer with 19 goals.

Why do I have feeling this deal will backfire in our ass?

SlyFox

because it will… do we even have scouts….? aubameyang, darmian, Saponara, Sokratis, acerbi, paloschi

ardi

how can milan go so low in price especially to rome, who asked way to much for the players milan wanted.galliani payd almoust 100% overpriced both for romagnoli and bartolacci
and now galliani asks only 13M a talent that still is the highest rated in italy.
this is really the worst that can happen for milan.

Well said ! F**k this deal , Milan will sit comfortable below CL spots for years to come so get used to it , were a small team now .

How is El Sha the highest rated talent in Italy? he hasnt scored a serie a goal in almost 2 years, hasnt been healthy, and has a drug problem. (Rumoured). Kind of hard to sell someone for a high price when he hasnt done a thing of note in 4 years. Would you spend 40 million on someone that hasnt scored in 2 years? Come on man. Get real here.

Berto 20m. EL SHARAAWY 13.. Milan logic

To the 2 person that put dislike…..you dont have a clue about football! Worst part is that we dont get the 13 mio just 1.4m. This move is madness, specially when you see Honda playing like a homeless since beginning of the season. Who is the sub of Bona or Honda(who should be on the bench)? Ses could have been a good and cheap solution.

First of all our scouting network is good in my view.Have some common sense. If you are referring to auba, darmian, sokratis etc. then you should know that they were present in our academy because they were picked up by the scouts. If you want more evidence, then just see donarumma & calabria. Scouts are supposed to pick talent, not develop them. It is the job of coach to nurture them & provide opportunities. If players are not going to get chances then it is obvious they will leave.

far out we just lost alberto grassi to napoli. god im sick of this milan management. we sold petagna to atlanta so we could get grassi from them. now we are without petagna and grassi.

B&G need to step down then we will again triumph.

Comparing El sha to Berto? Berto last season had more goals and assists then El sha has had in the past 2 years. Im not saying hes the better player, but you also have to remember that Roma just paid Genoa 16 million for him, obviously they are going to try and make some money, its business. Did Galliani overspend? We dont know yet, it looks like he did. El Sha has a lot of issues, he cant stay healthy, and also has no confidence. The rumours of his drug abuse dont help. So when people are complaining about him… Read more »
