Lopez’s agent: “Diego to leave in January? I know nothing, he only wants to recover to stay at Milan”

Diego Lopez’s agent did not wish to add to the rumours that Diego Lopez could be on the way out already in 2 months.

Lopez had a stellar debut season with Milan last term but this year he has struggled to provide the same performances and after losing the first-choice jersey to 16-year-old Gianluigi Donnarumma, the Spaniard decided to treat an injury that he’s been carrying.

The Italian press suggested that Diego could be looking for an exit this January with Premier League clubs lining up for him, but the agent of the player says this is not the intention right now. Speaking to Milannews.it, agent Manuel Garcia Quilon said:

“Diego Lopez is recovering from injury. He’s working to eliminate the problem, and he’s already improved. Leaving in January? I know nothing about that, he only wants to recover to stay at Milan.”
